Why have silent letters in a word if they are silent? ๐

RE: WHAT FOOD TASTE LIKE CHICKEN?
I had duck a couple of times. It's tastier than chicken and should definitely give it a try. Especially if you eat its gravy with something like pulav (a preparation made of rice), it's an absolute nirvana!

RE: Advice for Introvert on how to talk with strangers and friends.
@kaia_ You're lucky! Most people I meet here haven't had success with online friendships, so I know for a fact that the chances are quite low. SoI am glad it worked out well for you :)

@Janet when you say 'shot' does it mean a photo or vodka ๐?

RE: Lonely in Nova Scotia
@kaia_ Absolutely! Learning about yourself and loving yourself is sometimes much more important than learning about others and loving them

RE: What's Your Fav NIGHT CLUBS/HANGOUTS?
@AXES I love the ones you posted! They seem wild haha!
When it comes to nightclubs, I love this place called Skyee which is on the rooftop and gives a good overview of the city. Enjoying the view and the cool breeze while munching on some tasty finger food and gulping down your favorite drink is a wonderful experience.
Not much of a nightclub, but this placed called Truffles is another of my favorite hangout spots, simply because the food here is so amazing.

RE: Would you eat 15 burgers for 1 million dollars or kick 15 children for 19 million dollars
Give me those burgers. I never say no to food ๐ money is secondary

RE: Why isnโt the number 11 pronounced onety one?
@swk this is actually a case of simplified modern English. Old English spelled the present tense read as 'a:rรฆ:de' while past tense was spelled as 'a:rรฆ:dde'. The pronounciation differs because of the presence of an extra 'd' in the past tense form of the word.

RE: TRUE EXORCISM OF ANNELIESE MICHEL (aka Emily Rose)
Not just Emily Rose, there are multiple incidents and recordings reported about exorcism. Seems like these things were indeed real in the past. In fact, in some places, the church still conducts exorcism with special permissions

RE: TRUE EXORCISM OF ANNELIESE MICHEL (aka Emily Rose)
@AXES could be mental problems. Since medical wasn't so advanced back then, people thought demon possessions were real. However, when you see the real photos of her, you see a few evidence that science cannot explain. So it's kind of a grey zone for me. Can't really decide whether I believe in it or not.

RE: Advice for Introvert on how to talk with strangers and friends.
Unpopular opinion but I think chatting sites actually make you more introverted. You kind of get addicted to it, meet people online and talk with them and slowly your whole life revolves around those online friends. You stop going out, stop meeting new people at social events and that slowly impacts your communication skills.
While chatting sites like these are fun, they, like everything else, should be only used within limits. Your real life is what matters the most. Unless you go out with friends, go to events, and meet people offline, you are never going to improve your conversational skills. Go to the grocery store, and pick up a small talk with the cashier. Ask how the day was for the taxi driver when returning home. Appreciate the dog and pick-up a small talk about pets with the random person on the street walking their dog. Small steps like these prove to be droplets of water in the ocean towards your ultimate goal of improving conversation skills, both offline and online.

@AXES also check out this article. It actually has people confirm that they have had first hand experience facing the things that are beyond the understanding of science.
With so many evidences as this, I wouldn't completely rule out that exorcism and Demonic possessions are real.
