Amen, there are chat categories, but I am uncertain how influential or effective they are. Sometimes it feels like the chat jumps between categories just to find someone.

The longest conversation I have had on here was nearly five hours long. It was a very enjoyable chat. Later the person and I exchanged contact info, and we've been friends ever since.

@sarah It was on desktop, and surprisingly it did not disconnect. We talked about a variety of topics. We only stopped chatting when they had to go, but we talk still on Google Hangouts.
