@girltochat It is really shameful if your parents indeed shout abuse. But after all, they are your mom and dad, and maybe the first step towards normalcy would be to talk the situation on a serious note, with your own parents, instead of just going to your room and locking it from the inside. If you feel like the conversation is not effective in any way howsoever, you might want to consider reporting to an authority, who handles Child Protection and Rights. The final move would be adoption, done through court and legal processes, but this requires consent.
I would highly recommend you to talk about the situation first with your parents, assuming they are sober and mature for conversation, which I feel they must be, being parents

Look I'm 14,I can't do much.Im also not saying that I trust you,as I have trust issues for another reason.All I can tell you is you're almost 18. You are legally ab adult and you can leave your home and move somewhere else. You could also run away to a friends house for a while. Their is not much anyone can do. Good luck and don't put your life in danger. Just try to deal with it for one more year.
