I have a question to all Indians on here

  • So I have a question about Hinglish how widespread is it? Or do people even speak it? If yes what is it like?

  • @Astatine Hinglish?

  • @R-Sharma yes our teacher told us about it but I wanted to ask Indians since they know better

  • @R-Sharma its supposed to be Hindi mixed with English

  • @Astatine

  • @Astatine it's basically Hindi but when we are kids we were taught how to spell English alphabets in Hindi and as you know android phones have an English alphabets keyboard so we evolve ourself and found a way to deal with that😅

  • @Astatine where are you from as

  • @R-Sharma so it's rather a written mixture than a spoken language u would say?

  • @R-Sharma Belarus

  • @Astatine it's Hindi when you spoke and a mixture when you write it

  • @Astatine Hinglish is basically hindi, only the script in which it is written is by using letters of english alphabet. It is used by Indians to communicate in social media as writing hindi in original script takes a lot of time and is also hard.

  • @R-Sharma ah okay thx for explaining
