Has anyone seen Chernobyl; the HBO miniseries based on the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster?
-
What are your thoughts on the show!?
If you haven't watched it, well then, I highly recommend you to...
I remember back then when I was interested in the second World War's Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings I discovered about Chernobyl, the catastrophic event left me stunned; when I first saw the trailer for the miniseries I instantly knew how popular it would become. The show basically centers around the damages the disaster had caused and the avaracious politicians and officers in charge. The show perfectly grips your attention from the very beginning. You can easily feel the pain and suffering of the commoners who had no idea about the extent of damage the disaster had caused. Long story short the show is a must watch!

@Anastasia-Smith yeah my brother downloaded it from torrent . I have seen opening where people got infected by touching redio active material. but then I got bored
n pause the video. -
@Anastasia-Smith i haven't seen this but few years ago i remember seeing a movie called 'Chernobyl diaries' which maybe similar to this except it had radioactive zombies.
-
@Anastasia-Smith My family did but I wasn't staying with them at the time so no not yet. It's on my "to watch soon" list, after all the great feedback/reviews it received.
-
Its all facts and good
-
I've heard it's good; will watch at some point. However, I'd like to think it's just the Soviet bureaucracy that gets a slanging, and not communism per se. 'K19 Widowmaker', the Harrsion-Ford-versus-Sub-radiation movie did a pretty good job of not painting communism to be too stupid.
And we should be careful, what with the shiz that's going down in Hong Kong. Think you want democracy, lads? Take it from someone who lives in Britain: it soon just turns into a nightmare.
-
@Indrid-Cold PREACH!
-
They dont get infected they get burnt
-
@Anastasia-Smith I downloaded the series, and have only just started watching, so I'm still at the beginning. When there's time I hope to watch the rest, as what I've seen so far has very much intrigued me.
-
@Anastasia-Smith There was just another little nuclear oopsy in Russia the other day. What little is know has been on the news. I think they were saying that was a short-range missile test gone wrong. Some people never learn
-
Does anyone know US gave weapon grade plutonium contaminated quacker oats and meals to school children when they were trying to make nukes .. to see the effects of it .. they should now make series about such stuff too
-
@Anastasia-Smith Sneaky. You've been checking out some of my posts. I like that. Mysterious Miss Smith
-

@Anastasia-Smith Hey, anyone who decides to quote from Gone With The Wind...in SPANISH is alright in my book. Pages of which are scattered all over the place, here. Read on, if it pleases you
-
@Sybaritee uh huh it was quite prevalent in the 20th century...the Unethical human experimentation ..they surely should make a show on it!
-
@Lazz I have actually...its one of my favourite classic novel!
-
@Anastasia-Smith I spotted that too, many good ones
-
@Anastasia-Smith I'm humbled. So much left as yet unwritten. Stay tuned.
-

Have you ever had enough of boring movies/series/shows? I introduce you the movie of the movies (all movies)! The movie (show) is action, and drama, and comedy, and love, and romantic, and thriller, and mystery, and most of all - with a lot of meaning. A movie (show), that should grab you and conquer you from the first episode (#1 this is from episode 16), from the very beginning, from the first seconds of the movie (show). Each episode is strong in itself, as much as watching a quality movie. So many things happen every minute. Prison Break is full of incredible twists and unexpected surprises. There are movies, in which, as you watching them, you don't understand what's going on and you can predict what will happen after a little while, because there are predictable, but Prison Break is just the opposite - it's understandable what is happening, but 99% of the time you can't guess (predict) how things are going. You haven't watched a show like this.... To me, this is the best series ever made in all the worlds. I would say that, if one has never watched Prison Break, then it isn't worth living. Exaggerated words, but true. This movie (show) is not like the others, it's different. When there is tension, it really is and you feel it. You get totally into the movie (show) and experience everything that happens to the characters. Some of them become close relatives, for whom you would cry, if something tragic happened to them. The sense of humor in the film (show) is unique. The things that can be learned from this movie are irreplaceable. Prison Break you can watch it 948238409238509328509237589247 times and still not get bored and every time you watch it, you will discover new and new things. So many things are perfectly made up and thought out. The logic of the movie (show) goes great. So many and totally different things can be seen from 1 episode 1 season until the end of the whole season. By Paul Scheuring's idea. RESPECT! All fans want to see this movie (show) continue. I even dreamed of completely new episodes from the movie, just as good. Whatever I talk about this movie, is still going to be not enough. Even every movie (show) intro is so good - like a movie, for that 30 seconds, as it flows, you can feel the trembling. Prison Break can fill you with any feelings. This movie can change your life, make you think about many things in your life. Every thing that happens is justified by real facts and knowledge, and not in some stupid sorcerer movie, for example a hostage is released from books by magic. At Prison Break you will not encounter such absurdity. More about this movie (show)... For example, even if you have watched it so many times and know everything by heart about the movie, if you need a lot of sleep, like on a train, and you can't sleep with a Prison Break episode, because that's how
you look at it and follow it with interest. The movie (show) is a true masterpiece! №1! You can't sleep on it. Your mind is sharpening. For example, the main character in the movie (show) is not like in most movies - strong, powerful, invincible, fearless, etc. - he is normal but copes with difficulties and problems, using his brain. This movie (show) has inspired so many people around the world. As for the plot of the movie, I won't share it with you. If you are interested, you will watch it. It's not about just some stupid prison. It is well worth the time for the movie (show), it is really worth it. The time is not wasted with it. About directing techniques - the movie (show) is super well done - directing skills. The movie (show) won't be the same without its sound (audio)! Everything is in the movie (show), everything is thought out. You are not concerned with empty and unnecessary things. EVERYTHING SHOWED IS NOT INCIDENTAL, everything has a purpose. Famous actors are involved and their play is - I have no words ... The movie also features NLP (if you don't know what it is, Google it) - for example.. in the names of the characters. What else I can tell you......... Watch the series. Usually a common reaction of people, when something is being so well recommended, is to repel. When you recommend them to a movie/show... no, it can't be, but, if they accidentally come across it anddddddddd........ You must have realized how small fan of the series I am. Just, if you've been fed up of stupid and boring movies (shows), try this one! You will would like to watch it in one go. And let me also write my final phrase finally - The Movie (Show) of the Movies (Shows)! There is no better movie (show). Oh. Thank you very much for your attention!(however, to note which actors are involved - Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield), Dominic Purcell (Lincoln Burrows), Amaury Nolasco (Fernando Sucre), Robert Knepper (Theodore 'T-Bag' Bagwell), Sarah Wayne Callies (Dr. Sara Tancredi), Wade Williams (Brad Bellick), William Fichtner (Alex Mahone), Paul Adelstein (Paul Kellerman), Marshall Allman (LJ Burrows), Rockmond Dunbar (Benjamin Miles 'C-Note' Franklin), Jodi Lyn O'Keefe (Gretchen Morgan) and many more and more famous...
In case you decide to watch it - Enjoy watching!
