@nneemmaa11 praying has been never proven to work but all religions continue to fucking do it for some reason. What about the devine plan, praying is basically asking god to change his devine plan and to have his will changed in accordance to your wants but of course he never heals kids dying of malaria because giving them malaria was in his plan from the first place i guess

@alwaysstranger but many praying would help in some cases. Even if God won't help or anything like that, for some people praying would be really helpful as it would act as an emotional support and would give them the will to endure due to their belief that God would help them. It is better than thinking nothing could save them and they can't escape from their doom because here, they have at least some hope.
