The only way to know for sure is to develop a proper space exploration program.

RE: Looks like you have some misconceptions, and im happy to clear them :)
@IM-NOT-dORNY GREAT! How about we start with the creation myth, according to Hindu belief, how was the earth/universe created? further to that how were people created?

RE: Do you think life exists outside of Earth?
@Itiel said in Do you think life exists outside of Earth?:
@PrincessLenneth No. Because there is universal law which say that if any planet should have at least 12 "facts", for example the right lvl of oxygen, how the planet close to the sun etc, who make it worth living. For now only earth have that.
You are assuming that other lifeforms breath oxygen. But there we don't know how they as a species have evolved, they may breath nitrogen for all we know.

Do you have time to explain the Hindu Pantheon of Gods and Goddesses to me?

RE: so what is your biggest problem right now in live (:
My biggest problem in life is the use of the word "but"... When people use this awful word it makes me cringe down to the core of my very soul. I do not hate many things in life, other than the explicit and unprovoked use of this word.
It ruthlessly destroys debates and conversations at a whim, shutting down all notions of humanity. -
RE: Your reaction upon receiving an egg from a stranger.
What type of egg are we talking about here? Is it hard boiled, raw, fried, or scrambled?

RE: Looks like you have some misconceptions, and im happy to clear them :)
@Misotheism that is potentially the most ignorant thing I have read on the internet in a long time. Quite frankly, I am not interested in your subjective point of view.

RE: Your reaction upon receiving an egg from a stranger.
@Karina-Kara In that case, I would hope that it is a fertilized egg (uncooked). Then take it home and try and hatch it. If I am lucky enough the chick would be a hen. When it starts laying eggs, I would take them in a weaved basket and start handing them out to strangers on the street.

RE: have you ever see ghost?
@Karina-Kara I have read several cases of doppelgänger ghosts, who plague their living counter-parts.
The most documented case I have read is about a teacher named Emilie Sagee. She was a teacher somewhere in the 1800s, I can't remember when. She was followed by a ghost that looked exactly like her. She, herself, never saw it but her students and colleagues often claimed to see it. -

One thing you have to understand about Hinduism, is that, it's not a monotheistic religion. That means, we all have different beliefs, within Hinduism itself. But those scattered beliefs, are united by some core values. These core values are:
- KARMIC NATURE OF THE UNIVERSE
- Never ending cycle of birth and rebirth
- Nothing is absolute!
so Hinduism, isnt a religion per se, its a way of life. A way to think!
Thus, you can interpret the teachings in different ways. So i'm gonna give you, my beliefs.@The-wise-one said in Looks like you have some misconceptions, and im happy to clear them :):
@IM-NOT-dORNY GREAT! How about we start with the creation myth, according to Hindu belief, how was the earth/universe created?
There is no absolute start or end, everything is very speculative and metaphysical.
Like i said, the core value of Hinduism is of, a perpetual cycle of starts and ends.
In today's terminology, we refer to it as the Big Bang and the Big Crunch. But, in our religion, we never really focused on the 'how' part of the question, but it's 'why' aspect.
To find out 'how' it was created, is something science will help you in better. But to search for the 'why' it was created is where my religion, shows the way!further to that how were people created?
what exactly do you mean by people?
is it consciousness you are talking about, or the physical aspect of us?So after reading this, it inspired me to go search for myself some more information. What I found was really very interesting. Because Hinduism is a conglomeration of several different intellectual and spiritual texts, there is actually more than one creation myth, some of which actually contradict each other. Fascinating really. Thank you for this @IM-NOT-DORNY

@hanastrawberry said in have you ever see ghost?:
@The-wise-one I thought doppelgänger is someone that look alike like us? am I right?
Yes, you are right. However their have been sightings of doppelganger ghosts, while the person it looks like is still alive.

RE: You can only pick 3 Toy Story characters for an Oceans Eleven-style jewel heist. WHO DO YOU CHOOSE AND WHHYYY
this is very thought-provoking.
- mr. potato head - master of disguise
- slinky dog - nimble and agile, he can hang from ceilings, grab the jewels undetected
- [this one stumped me the most but it think...] bullseye - he would be the getaway driver/ride
