A 2 year relationship is not a fail, some people aren't even able to have a 2 year relationship.

It can be nothing when you are alone (but not always, as sometimes it can be useful for some periods).
At least, you weren't alone.
Some people are in a relationship for 15 or 20 years, and have to build again, another one, so, if you look at it this way, you lost nothing.
