@mrad I'm an American Muslim, I converted a few years back and I haven't found it hard to meet people. But like you said, I just don't want to hurt anyone or get hurt, so I'm taking my time finding the right person. Gotta base everything on the right intentions

@mrad I see what you mean. Have you talked to your mom about this? I understand cultural boundaries and norms, believe me, I do. But your mom may actually have more insight into a female's mind and what would be acceptable in your society. -in case you haven't noticed, I'm a goodie two shoes who believes in open communication with parents.

@mrad I get the feeling of being isolated. But people don't usually help remove isolation. Not unless they're people who get you, who understand you. I've been in many places in my life where I feel more isolated and lonely when I have people around than when I'm alone. It depends on who you're with. But people who get you are few and far between.

@ant-man love comes in many forms, but I think friendship is the most powerful of them all. I know it's been said many a time, however, friends are the family we get to choose.
