RE: just a song that's stuck in my head
@Janet damn that's a nice pick! I love the disco and house influences. Here's some songs I like that are in similar genres:

RE: just a song that's stuck in my head
@AXES those vocals truly fit the song title really well lol, cool pick

RE: just a song that's stuck in my head
@Cold-Sun That is a pretty cool bass, though pretty minimal.
Also 0:39 kind of reminds me of REZZ - Edge lol (2:33)

just a song that's stuck in my head
I love the vocalist's voice so much, it sounds wistful / dreamy...

RE: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE MUSIC?
TRON Legacy is criminally underrated imo. The whole soundtrack is fucking amazing, coming straight from Daft Punk.

RE: Favourite ELECTRONIC songs?
@AXES yeah honestly his music was ahead of his time. So many layers.

RE: Favourite ELECTRONIC songs?
@AXES lovely composition! Kind of reminds me of this:

RE: Favourite ELECTRONIC songs?
@AXES damn I need to listen to more classics. The progressions are mesmerizing. Excellent pick!
edit: wait I replied to the wrong post, this was supposed to reply to the Pink Floyd song.

Favourite ELECTRONIC songs?
Hi, I like electronic music. Feel free to post some of your favourite electronic tunes / artists!
Here are my favorites (sorted from chill to angry) :
genres: trance, electronica
The thing to remember with Taishi / compllege songs: It's not a song, it's a journey
genres: ambient, psytrance, trance
This is not a song, this is a journey.
genres: breakcore
Honestly idk how to sort this one. It feels really dreamy and calming even considering the downpour of drums. Honestly probably one of the weirdest genres I like tbh, idk the drums remind me of rain.
genres: trance
I nearly have to hold back tears when listening to the melody starting at 1:57. Absolutely beautiful. Nhato melodies are my favourite.
genres: psytrance, hitech, hardcore
lapix songs are something else entirely. They manage to surprise me every single time, and it seems like he can't stop experimenting with sound design. 2:13 onward is just heaven.
genres: Complextro
The arps in this are delicious.
genres: Happy Hardcore
man, happy hardcore is one of those genres that I can always vibe to. It's always so uplifting (as the name implies lol). also this song is so underrated it makes me want to cry :(
genres: psytrance, hardstyle, trap, hardcore
that moment when 1:47 hits... damn this one gets me every time.
genre: hitech
chances are you haven't heard what hitech is, even if you're an avid electronic music listener. This one is a perfect example.
genres: Camellia
the first drop is actually insane. no idea what genre this belongs under, this is just Camellia.
genres: machinegun psystyle
"wtf is a machinegun psystyle"
genres: dubstep, speedcore
YES. SPEEDCORE CAN BE GOOD. IM NOT JOKING. When the lead kicks in at 2:22, god everything after that is done beautifully.

RE: ARE YOU INTO VIDEO GAMES?
that's an insane setup you've got there! honestly it puts everything I'll have to shame... The only video games I own are every single Halo game (I still believe Infinite can make a comeback!), Portal 1&2,
and Minecraft (who doesn't like Minecraft nowadays). Honestly if I could get an arcade machine I'd 100% get Beatmania IIDX or Sound Voltex. I love rhythm games so much, and their library of exclusive songs are immense. -
RE: MUSIC THAT BECAME THEIR OWN STYLE
There's certainly a lot I can name...
I'll name just one. This genre called "Future Core", which originated from Japan from the record label MEGAREX which attempts to combine Future Bass and Hardcore. The result is very good imo. Take a listen:
(for real this four-way collab was amazing. Such's angelic voice combined with PSYQUI's signature bass, lapix's insane wubs, and Cranky's eurobeat influences make it one hell of a song)
edit: I now realize how different my taste is from most people here lmfao

RE: SONGS THAT NEVER FADE AWAY
the melody at 2:25 has been stuck in my head for the past 2 years now.
edit: now I realized this thread was meant to be for old songs haha oops
