Yes, it is perfectly okay to be submissive! If you are comfortable with being this way, there is absolutely no good reason for you to alter your ways unless you are curious to try becoming dominant or even a switch. Being submissive/dominant/switch have nothing to do with who you are as an individual. It is simply a preference and should not be viewed as something better or worse.

I personally, am dominant. Taking control is just part of being a natural leader, but just because I like to be in charge does not mean I am better than my partner.

It is your duty to find a partner that best suits your needs, and if you enjoy being one way, the opposite is usually the best match. Less battling each other and more helping one another reach their end goal. Balance is key.

My city is not doing so well. They are trying to reinforce the "stay at home" movement by creating bigger fines for those that leave without it pertaining toward work. I hope the lockdown will lift soon. I have seen a decrease in morale and I am hearing of an increase level of demestic abuse.

@Jeosha-Frazee You've read one side. Now read another. I am a family member that has rejected a parent. My aunt is family member that has rejected her sibling. My brother, grandfather, grandmother... Sometimes it isn't about us, sometimes it's about you.

My parent has lied, cheated, stole, and hated. Begged for forgiveness and then comitted the same crimes. Spent hours using guilt to sharpen their tongue. Spat cruel words and left mental scars. So tell me... how can you help someone that doesn't want help? Who only wants what they want and to hell with everyone that can not immediately comply tinto bending to their every will. Why did we eventually cross the line and say no to this individual?

No one knows which story is yours better than you. The biggest advice I can give to you is; you need to communicate with your family and find what is the root of the treatmeant they are currently giving you? Maybe there was a misunderstanding among you guys. Find a way to come to some conclusions. Perhaps they are wrong and you are right. Maybe that is blue to you and indigo to me, but that doesn't mean one of us is wrong. You just need to figure out that middle ground of understanding one another.

I am most comfortable within the forests embrace. The trees, the animals, the whispers on the wind. The earth beneath my feet, and the smell of sage. Nothing can quite soothe the soul like nature.

I can understand how the waves of the ocean could help one feel peace as well, though the sea frightens me more than it could ever calm me.

@GreyWind Having a common interest can help build a relationship. When you have something you share with another, you are inviting someone to open up and allow them to become comfortable. When someone feels you have similar interests they respond in a positive manner and may even reveal something more, however, in their own excitment over the subject it may even place them in a vulnerable state of mind if they are not careful. For example, they could say something without first thinking it over.

I feel predictablity is an unfavorable trait overall. We are creatures of habit and we tend to do the same things, but once in awhile something abrupts the cycle and things change. Familiarity breeds decent. If you become used to something that is constant, when it does finally change course, it can leave you feeling lost, confused, and maybe even angry and fearful.

@knownsense Sometimes I forget that not everyone has the same freedoms and strengths that I do. I wanna believe that everyone is capable of progressing as an individual and can think for themselves, but sometimes I fail to understand why this isn't possible with some folks.

Many factors go into such a fantasy and if you come from a country that shames you for having your own thoughts and punishes you for wanting to reach out and learn without fear of being judged, it makes it even more difficult and can be difficult on both people trying to make a connection. Different cultures clash when they are raised and taught differently. Only through careful communication can you hope to learn without being accused of being bad and wrong or scaring each other away.

The more I communicate with others, the more fond I grow of this song. I wish more people would have the strength to speak up. Too much is done for the wrong reasons because no one dares to speak up.

@Greymatter depends on the room. Did you know they have rooms that are sound proof? These rooms are so silent, the person inside could go mad before the hour is up. These rooms are called anechoic chambers. They are interesting. Here is a link if you wanna learn more.

Otherwise in a normal room, I like to imagine meeting people and wondering how certain events could unfold. I can become quite adventurous in my mind.

So tell me what you are really yearning for? No reason to be so vague in your request for attention. If you want something, you gotta go get it. How else will anyone know what it is you seek? We can not read minds, at least, I can't.

I believe everyone has strengths and weaknesses. A matter of intelligence is based more upon the individual and not so much the sex of that individual. I know many that posess a higher level of intelligence than my own, but what they lack, I gain. Only when you come together, can you truly become equal. Sometimes it is our strengths AND weaknesses that determine our unique qualities.

But if I tossed that aside and state a simple opinion: boys are more logical, girls are more impulsive and depending on what is happening within the situation, it may go in eithers favor.

That is not much of a conversational piece. That too, is vague and with so many bots and spammers around, surely you know more words, no? Do not misunderstand, it is a start, but it doesn't hold onto one's attention well does it? I am confident a simple word or broken sentence is enough to create very little to no effect to the desired intention.

Try again @ScottishGuy I need something more than a single word. I will loose interest far too quickly and you wouldn't want that, right? You've made a small effort for communication, but you need more than a single word if your goal is to further this conversation.

My town doesn't have much for street food options, even with the idea of a food truck becoming more popular. But when I was a kid... there was a woman that had a little cart she would push around my ghetto that had her homemade Mexican food. She had a horn she would honk. When I heard the sound, "honka...honka honka!" I would always try to scramble up some change to get a tamale or one of her corn on the cobs on a stick.

We called her the "honka honka" cuz of her horn, but she was an awesome woman. Couldn't speak a lick of english, but she had a heart of gold. Sometimes if she didn't sell all her tamales she would give them to my little brother and I, because she knew we needed them the most. And hell, if they're gonna go bad, she knew we'd eat 'em! I still think about her from time to time.

@Single_teen_girl never loose that fire. Many girls will fall victim to predators to gain a little attention. Never water yourself down to fit into someone else's box.

@thegodbrother I would agree with your father! Everyone has a price, but what you pay may not always be with money. Some things are more expensive than a piece of paper your government printed onto. Some people pay with their life, others their time. And if you do not honor life, all you have left is time, and time, you can never get back.

@ScottishGuy was. My personal record is by no means impressive among the super athletes, nor have I ever attempted to over due my limitations. I work with dumbbells
Ine in each hand, when I train. The last deadlift I did though was 145lbs. My dumbbells have nearly all leveled out, except squats. My squats were a comfortable 50lbs. Let's see: abs and triceps were at 15lb dumbbells, and biceps, chest, upper back were set to 20lbs. I averaged about 5 sets of 10-20 reps each with one minute intervals. Not too bad.. but I know I can do better if I focused on it more.

In the fall I will go back to college, this time for fitness and music. I am hopeful I will learn more.

I am no coward. I will face anything if I must, but I would not enjoy it! Hahaha I can love it from the beach, but I will never go past waist deep; if I am given a simple choice. If a friend was in need, I would never hesitate to help, but some things you can not alter your way of thinking. Even in silly games I am afraid of deep water.

@thegodbrother I raised my younger brother and he grew up to be a good hardworking man. He is a good father, and I am proud of the man he is today. So perhaps you are right. I may be a good mother. I take no shit from anyone, but if you are under my protection, you need never worry. Maybe smack you upside your head if you misbehave, but overall you will turn out okay.

@Greymatter are you referring to mine? My cover photo is of Tyr and Fenrir. I took the original design from a Google search, added color and a new background to it. I am pleased with the way it came out.
