"Dreams feel real while we're in them. It's only when we wake up that we realize something was actually strange." @Lurker this one's from inception, guess I was a bit late haha.
@Anjalidevra To me, reality is what you are capable of seeing (not through your eyes, but acknowledging it). The allegory of the cave is probably the closest thing I can think of right now, the more experiences you go through, the more you get of understanding it.

RE: do you find people interesting over internet or irl ?
@Adyyan Finally not the typical TWS topic. Depends, I've met interesting people on both sides. I would always choose a real conversation over an internet one but the diversity of the internet gives you the opportunity to find people with common interests, plus it costs less money and time to do so.
@pe7erpark3r Facial expressions always betray people, to me it's much easier to associate an attribute to someone whom I get to talk to in person, still good point, if only it was called "real life" so people would be real. Also, you should try making some topics, I'm done seeing all these "it's so cold I can't take a bath" or "he has AIDS" topics.

Depression, a current state or a long time/permanent disorder?
Lately, I bumped into quite many people who claimed to be depressed, saying that they can't change their lives and there is nothing that would make them change the way they sleep, feel, work (to sum it up, the way they exist). For now, let's focus on those who truly suffer from that and not those who do that for attention/the trend, since self depreciation is really popular as far as I've seen. Personally, I can only say that I totally agree to this quote:
"Man is not fully conditioned and determined but rather determines himself whether he gives in to conditions or stands up to them. In other words, man is ultimately self-determining. Man does not simply exist but always decides what his existence will be, what he will become in the next moment." - Viktor E. Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning.
With no intentions of trying to sound dull, I find it impossible to believe in depression as being something fixed, which cannot be changed. Why? No matter how hard it is to admit, everyone has one little thing that would bring joy, either socializing, playing certain games, studying - it is up to the individual. Prolonging that one activity and becoming successful (popular, rich, fit, "accepted", whatever that one goal is) will change the perspective of the individual to a better one; or, at least, that is how I feel about it. Under no circumstances I intend to say that it is easy to change your life, but it is possible.
I would like to see your take on this, so feel free to share your thoughts. -
RE: do you find people interesting over internet or irl ?
@pe7erpark3r Do not fear of it being left unread, and followers are not truly important here, if you are friendly, you get plenty of them. Also, topics don't really need more participants, just a good topic, think of it as being a blog, all you would need is a good idea. And enough time haha.
The social networking would work, but in order to do so, you would have invite people rather than them finding the community. -
RE: Social anxiety...just a personal rant for myself.
I personally dig when people come off their perfect status and share their thoughts and insecurities. I can understand that initiating conversations can be scary as I had my fair share of it for a while as well. I doubt that anyone could just come up with a solution for this, but yourself. Yet it is done through wisdom, through knowledge, experiences, hence words like "just be confident"/"just don't care" simply don't work. But I will try to leave you with the insight or, at least, a scent of what made me reckless regarding this. I've always been an advocate of the "what you practice, you get good at at" principle. So, in order to overcome what I feared the most, I had to embrace it. Obviously, I did not start by just jumping into crowds and yelling - I am not that much of a masochist, but rather baby steps: challenge yourself, start an unwanted conversation. Don't let your fight-or-flight response take over your decision, but rather take into account that you're ultimately self-determining. Don't take a bad conversation as being the average, choose to talk to the people you relate to. To end with a happier tone as you yourself did, I am glad that you're attempting to get over it, and even this post, exposing your frame of mind, is a big step, so I am optimistic that you will eventually succeed.
P.S: You see your over(thinking + feeling) as being a nuisance, but it is not entirely the case. Yes, it sucks to invest a lot of yourself into small things, into your image, but it makes you more humane, more aware of what goes around you. Now I am not trying to contradict everything I've just said, but do not give up on how you truly feel for the sake of being thick-skinned in each and every aspect.

RE: Depression, a current state or a long time/permanent disorder?
@Lurker Getting deep into the topic would bring the endless emotional vs. objective tussle back to life? haha. Thanks for the reply, however there's one more question to be answered to: do you consider that any person who suffers from depression could get over in the most favorable conditions? Because, after all, that's what everyone seek, happiness, but in different forms, right?

RE: Would I look good with black hair?
People told me to be more optimistic, so let me give it a try.
It would be good if you could fill that empty space in your head with some brain.
@Durwin I hope now you get to understand what i mean haha. -

@XD7 I have been blessed with a brain, I am not a spammer, "huh". However, when your feelings get above your rationality, especially as an owner, you're digging a hole to your server.
