@Meowie-meow-33 For me, on a personal basis, I feel this is a site for discussion and interaction. It is very unfortunate that most people deem this platform to be a utility to aid with their relationships or sexual desires, but there are some people out there who just want to act normal and chat in a casual way. There are some who use abuse and insults and openly shout propaganda in a chat, relevant or irrelevant, and I, being a peace maker, try to avoid these to the best of my ability, and occassionally do I try to extinguish such haranguing. It is shameful that there is the tenacious existence of many fake profiles which mean nothing but harm, and there are a lot of people who might get entrapped just because of them not thinking straight and ambiguity in their mind and heart.
I joined this site to make new friends from all over the world, and I indeed am, however painstakingly slow the process might seem to be. I assume most of the people, especially teenagers, to have joined to fulfill their desires for a girlfriend or a boyfriend, but there is quite an abundance in people belonging to the same age gap who sound mature, intellectual, and even harmless.
I adjudge this website to have cured a lot of people from mental illnesses like depression and anxiety, and I therefore think that it is a potentially excellent platform for discussion and healthy and hearty debates. :)

@Haty Hey, know that there are tons of people who love you for what you are and what you do..Never feel like you're alone, it kills one from the inside..It is fine not being in a relationship, and there are a dozen of guys with decent thoughts and minds who would agree! :)

I have met and chatted with a lot of fabulous and wonderful friends I have made along the way, I have replied and posted a lot and am grateful for the existence of this page...

However, I can apparently see that the darker side lies in online chatting. Not to be taken wrong, I have myself met and made around 2 or 3 friends over chats, but the rest just disappear after you chat with them, lest they have an account here...Also, I have interacted with guys who are not interested to talk to guys, perverted dirtbags, who try to lure you, shamefully, into sexting, and ironically, the existence of a single girl out of a dozen members on the chat room mentioned 'Chat With Girls'...
A lot of people come over here for romance and stuff..I don't blame them for being single! But before beginning romance, shouldn't one have friends first, to share his feelings with, and to interact with him as he was one's own neighbour in the small world one lives in? I personally give friendship priority over companionship, just because friends last throughout, but you never know when a companion is full of you...idk, just a thought, tbh...

Anyways, I feel that this website is being much more misused for sexting, nudism and stuff, and that, for me, is not playing right with the norms of this website as primarily a website for meeting strangers and making new friends!

@daciana Well, considering that I am only a young adult, I have found life to be unfair on numerous occasions..One throws curses at life, only because one thinks that life doesn't play out as smoothly as he expects, and that all his wishes are not able to be fulfilled. For me, I had once wished to make a lot of friends in a new environment, but I seemed to be socially and intellectually isolated, and thus I failed in my attempt to befriend others..to be honest, I still do!
On critical occasions, I have even felt suicidal, and I think I owe the transient depression to academic causes and violent mood changes...To rub salt on the wound, one of my closest friends perished trying to battle stress, same as me..I was speechless for days, and it took me quite some time to recover...I have matured since, I guess..
Conclusion, many times have I felt that life was unjust and that God was nowhere near, and that my wishes were not even being heard, much less followed or respected. Anyways, I just thought if I could attempt to make my life a wee bit less miserable than I take it to be, I will smile at the other end..I am still in the process, starting with making new friends!:smiley: :smiley:

I am a Christian by heart, and cosmopolitan by nature. I have no favoured religions, as I believe all faiths are intertwined and lead up to Him. However, I am shamefully witnessing hate against Islam, which is, Masha allah, such a large and prosperous religion. I love and respect everybody, as goes with my life's motto :)
