What are your top 5 favourite video games of all time?
There are plenty of games out in this day and age, Which is truly an amazing feat, as it has allowed us gamers to really envelop ourselves into these amazing worlds and stories alike over the past couple of decades where we have seen the evolution of this newly emerging industry. This is why it makes it so hard to write this, as I'm picking based on my experiences and excitement while playing it, I'd also love to see your games and why.
Here’s my list:
5) Bloodborne
This masterpiece made by From Software, the creators of the Demon souls and Dark souls games, is a unique take on the genre they have created. Bloodborne is set in a dystopian world where people have been infected by something called the old blood. It's too complicated to explain, but the use of lore and indirect story telling is amazing, as it doesn't really have a story unless you look into it and analyse it thoroughly. This is on top of the insane difficulty it is unless you have a friend or understand the controls, as this game has no mercy and will teach you through pain. It was fun as it was a different take on the dark souls formula as it was more fast-paced and aggressive.
4) Ghost of Tsushima
The story of a Samurai trying to become something more, something greater, something that can be feared to rid his island of the mongols who invaded his land and killed his Samurai. Partly based on real life events and the mongol invasion of Tsushima in 1274. This is a story about how a man will lose everything and do anything to protect the things and people he loves. That drew me in from the get go, as well as the beautiful graphics.
3) God of war
A story about a God who has finally learnt how to be the father he never was. We see a much more experienced, wise and calm Kratos compared to earlier in the God of War franchise, this change as well as the over the shoulder view made us feel much more personal with Kratos, like a guardian angel and allowed us to follow him and his son on a simple journey that becomes something more.
2) Red Dead Redemption 2
Much like the first game, this game throws us in with a man with a goal. A goal to protect his family, which in this game is your camp/gang. The dynamic of Arthur Morgan and the humanity given to his character makes us empathize with him, whether we give the poor man a righteous redemption or a sad death it is all up to us to decide. The story was personal as we felt every twist and turn, on top of the graphics that were amazing back in 2018 and is still splendid now.
Honourable mentions:
Dark Souls 3
Spider-man 2
Marvel's Spider-man
Detroit Become Human
Batman Arkham City
Assassin's Creed 21) The Last Of Us
This has been placed at the number 1 spot due to the perfection of this game. From the music to character design, plot, relationship building, etc. This game opened my eyes to so many things, as it has so many lessons deep into it. The soundtrack is absolutely marvellous and is worthy of any praise it gets, and just the amount of dark tones it handles in a post apocalyptic word is just amazing and if you have a PlayStation 3/4, I'd highly recommend buying this masterpiece.

RE: Moosic what kind do y'all like?
Everything… Simply if it’s good music and has a good vibe I’ll like it.

What is actually the meaning of life?
Alright, people, deep conversation and question time. What do you think the meaning of life is? Do you think it's as simple as living for yourself or others, to be kind or maybe even to die? I've always been fascinated by this question and wonder what you'll all say. I have quite a few ideas, such as this is all a test or something of the sort etc.
Anyways, have fun down there and be sure to say anything and everything you have on the issue, don’t be shy!!!
Hopefully this is thought provoking enough…
- Also yes I do notice this can seem a bit nihilistic, but oh well…

RE: Is suicide the answer
@Haylee-Lundstrom Damn I hope it gets better soon. I know how it feels like to be in that position but just know you aren’t alone.
-
RE: Is suicide the answer
I mean the answer to death sure the answer to pain sure nah but honestly it’s sad you get to that point trust from experience its a shitty place to be in
-
RE: Some Random shitty topic
Note that this was back in the early 60’s when his first comic Amazing Fantasy #15 came out.
-
RE: Some Random shitty topic
Superman doesn’t have a hyphen also Spider-man has one because Stan Lee and Steve Ditko thought he would be confused for Superman, so they added the hyphen, and it stuck.

RE: Star Wars or Star Trek?
@SleepySaint Omg sleepy yes lmao this is what you ppl should be watching.

RE: Star Wars or Star Trek?
@Janet I'll try to give it a shot, hopefully it lives up to the hype.
