All I ask is that you be my peace. I don't need an escape, perfection, or any of that, just be the balance my crazy life needs at times. The guy thinks the broken girl is just having a bad day. But he doesn't see the scares on your wrists because of the hoodie she's wearing. He doesn't see the bloodshot eyes from her getting no sleep. He doesn't know that she's not just having a bad day. But she's broken and broken for good.

It was 15 to 15. I had the ball, we had been playing for about 4 hours. I have passed Connor and went to shoot. “I win! You got dishes tonight Connor!” I said turning around.
At that exact moment, my heart stopped. There I saw him lying on the ground.
“CONNOR!” I ran over to him, check his heart rate. He wasn’t responding so I can into the house to call 911. When the ambulance got to the house Mom and I were waiting outside for them, while trying to cool Connor down. We watched as they put him in the ambulance and we followed them to the hospital.
It was a few days until we knew what was actually going on because when he can’t breathe he just needs his inhaler and a drink of water, but this time he just completely collapsed on the ground.
