I actually had a dream where that happend and I pretty much fled from family and friends because I couldn't deal with their sadness so I hid inside a forest all day and listened to music. What does that tell me about my subconscious? ':D

It would make sense and probably make my life much much easier to choose the one who loved me but in the end I'd always one hundred percent choose the one I loved to be honest. I'd be miserable and he would notice and be too. And just imagine rejecting all that time you could spend with your love!
