RE: Who has a pet here?
If I ever had a pet, I'd like to have a cat probably.

RE: An Open letter to TWS Religious Zealots (especially those who are more "active" around here and are extremely vocal about their beliefs)
@Thales_BG Yes, I can understand the reaction but there's no need to drop yourself to his level.

RE: my faith has been shaken
@mikeJB Mike, I understand completely how you feel. In this world we see much suffering, pain, disease, and death. It can be confusing and terrible to witness. We live in a broken world. We suffer the legacy of our ancestors' sin, but none the less even in the midst of this God does not give up on us. We must always remember that this temporal life isn't the end, there is an eternity out there and death should not make us fearful, angry, or scared. Our Lord Jesus Christ conquered the realm of death with his crucifixion and resurrection, in Him there is only eternal life for those who know Him. And for those of us who know and love Him and are close to Him, we can pray for those who have passed that God in His infinite love for mankind may have mercy on them. If you want to talk to me, feel free to message me at any time.

RE: Do you consider a suicidal person a “coward”?
No. I don't believe a suicidal person generally is a "coward". They a broken individual in need of healing. There are a variety of circumstances which lead even the strongest men to suicide. One needs to look no further than military veterans who suffer from PTSD.

@Thales_BG What do you mean by Zealot? If you mean a zealot by someone who wishes ideally to give themselves fully to God, I will bear that title. I try to "hold the banner of Christ" in every part of my life, not just online. I have the suspicion that you interpret these things in a much different manner than I do. Do I judge people unjustly? Sometimes, but that is my own failing that I need to repent of. I do not believe in "fear-mongering" as a means to repentance, but rather the love of Christ working through me and others to bring the broken into healing relationship with Christ. I believe personally that acts of mercy, charity, kindness, self-sacrifice, and gentleness are a weapon sharper than even the pointiest sword.

RE: Can I die please
No. Life is sacred and it's worth living even through adversity to serve and love others.

That's quite a lot to read. I admit I don't appreciate how condescending the post is considering I can flip that around because I used to be an atheist and now I am a Christian. "I used to be just like you".
