@alwaysstranger Sure, they can be possessive or insecure, but, they can also want to protect their partner. They could trust 'em, and live 'em alone, sure. But, then they couldn't make sure they never get hurt when they could have been around. Also, I'm not saying. "I'm gonna be around my girl/boyfriend 24/7, yo!" Just when they want or can be.
