The snap is a safety precaution to prevent bad acid trips from unleashing armageddon. Also, even if I had my fingers chopped out, I would be able to activate it by stomping my foot or something.

If you have internet, download Skype or Google voice and call 911 if you're in the USA, or whatever the emergency number is where you live. But if what you say isn't true, do not attempt this.
