What about New Age music that came out in I think the 80's 90's. Only think I can think of right off was what there was in the Music of "HACKERS" I bought the CD for that movie and I really liked about 90% of it.
I can't really post about Music without giving away my age somewhat. I really liked the "Mystery to Me" album by Fleetwood Mac which now is a timeless classic. The Dylan, Byrds, The Who, Ten Years After, Lovin Spoonfull, Doors, Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Beach Boys, Donovan, Cream, The Band, Santana, Hollies, Rascals, The Supremes, The Four Tops, Temptations, Otis Redding, Sly and the Family Stone, I could probably list at least a 100 more from the 50's to present!

RE: Religion, this one is weird.
What I know from them coming to my door; They always have an answer to the questions and if they don't know something, they absolutely will come back with one! I don't know what questions jeah asked her nan, but I find it hard to believe she didn't or couldn't give her answers. Maybe they just weren't the answers she wanted to hear?

RE: What do you think will happen after we die?
I heard it said that the Bible says that "the dead are conscience of nothing." Dust to Dust and all that just means you don't exist anymore. You don't go anywhere. You are simply dead! as in your time is done!
Others talk about a resurrection of the dead. So, I guess you get a new body and start again. I think revelation said something about 144 thousand going to heaven and then the rest of us just end up here on the earth again.
Not sure why or how it all works, but someone told me that it has something to do with what the Bible said or the theme of the bibles message being about some kingdom that will replace what we have now.
I'm sure there are others that know a lot more about it than I do.

Maybe you should try leading with a different line than one that starts with lonely? I'm just sayin it kind of sounds desperate or like nobody wants to be or talk with you because. . . Just sayin you might want to try a better opening that comes across as someone interesting a 30's girl would want to make time for to chat with?
LOL How about; "I just won the Lottery and need idea's on how and what to spend all that money on." Girls can talk forever about spending money, shoes, cloths, jewelry, cars . . .

RE: Religion, this one is weird.
Interesting Topic. What strikes me about the responses I read through is nothing sourced to actually knowing or sharing what they believe or why they believe it. Or it never occurred to anyone to just google them or Wiki them for some basic information about them to post a comment that says something factual about them. I could, but I don't really think anyone here who posted actually cares enough to bother.
Here is something about them I know from speaking to them at my door; They seldom are without answers to questions, so I have to wonder what questions jaeh asked her nan? If they don't know the answer, they always come back with one. Oh, and nobody has ever noticed that everything they talk about using their Bible to show you whatever scriptures thay know to make that point with?
As to the brainwashing; couldn't we say the same about what any group belives? I mean like, come on, there are so many different religions in the world. Jehovah's Witnesses are the only ones brainwashed? or are all believing in what their religion specifically teaches and they believe are brainwashed?
If Jesus was a real person in history and his father is a almighty God and you believe in the Adam and Eve story, then Satan would have to also be a real person in human history. -
RE: Depression or not
I'm certain God didn't give you this disease unless your boyfriend is God, which isn't likely. I'm also certain everyone would agree you certainly have a valid reason to be depressed. What happened to you was the fault of your unfaithful boyfriend, who obviously didn't deserve your loyalty. It's completely on him and what he did was truly selfish, thoughtless and he clearly thinks more of himself than is necessary. Some posted good advice was to get some professional help or therapy to help you through this and to allow time for you to get your perspective back. What he did can make you feel bad and worthless, but only if you let it. What he did was about his lack of self-control and not about you.
