compliment has this strange power to manipulate people,so if u compliment a selfish person on how selfless he has been with a particular event,he tends to try to be selfless.
compliment can also be a doorway to friendship ,but this one should be a bit genuine or atleast it should feel genuine.
that being said i hate when someone says im brilliant or i have achieved something because that makes me feel full of myself and i lose focus and i dont want to put in anymore hardwork.
but i definitly enjoy a compliment that manipulate me into doing something good.

@its-bobby any compliment like "you are so mean", " you are an asshole", "i dont like you at all" etc.etc. are acceptable to me. I enjoy them all.
