Kurt Cobain is a common story, the tragic rock star! Foolish.. He killed himself. Nirvana was the first real musical heart break, ended before they were supposed to. Smells Like Teen Spirit being a major contributor to their success. With its distinctive, distorted guitar riff, this song became Nirvana’s most popular song. It served as an anthem for many of Generation X who just like Kurt Cobain, found themselves confused and uncertain about the world around them.
That's a tough choice. I appreciate the melodic structures for alice in chains more, i also feel that they are more versatile as a whole, at least instrumentally. But Cornell man....one of the greatest vocalists of ALL time imo. I'd go with Alice in Chains.
