Well, at least you've owned up to your behavior. You're not entitled to her forgiveness just because you see the error of your ways, but neither should your value be based entirely on the opinion of others. If you're truly sorry, you won't make this miscalculation again and maybe down the road she might see that you've taken this to heart and might be willing to rekindle your 'friendship' - or maybe not, but at least you'll know not to make the same mistake twice.
What do your parents say the most when they are talking to you?
-
For me its probably either "why can't you be more like your sister? She's responsible." Or, "Make good choices!" Like my mom will drop me off at softball practice, martial artbs, a friends house, anywhere. And always says that. It makes me mad. Cause i would be more concerned about my "responsible" older sister. Just saying
-
@Vanie Why are you in my house? Are those my pants? Who are you? Why are you here? I'm calling the cops! Stop calling me your mother!

I am not judging anyone but people, especially parents, should actually stop comparing. It's okay to point out others good qualities, even bad ones, but it shouldn't be directed towards anyone specific.
After years of protest my mom has now stopped doing it. -
