I saw a wonderful family adopt a indian child. Too small to even speak, so beautiful. And some rude ignorant fool comes up to them, and says, how are you gonna be able to speak to the child when she grows up? OMG, was this person this stupid? Like language is born from birth, not learned? we do have some stupid stupid people in this world, and it doesn't always take alcohol or drugs to prove it. Sad.

I rejected the influence of the male role models in my life from the age of six. The result is I take orders from male superiors as a suggestion.

@GirlNextDoor The most challenging thing about my past was probably when i lost my grandfather, he raised me since my mom left me when i was 5 so when he died it was really hard for me i had a difficult time accepting i was never gonna see him again, it took me years to recover from the pain i still miss him, his songs, his cooking, his stories about the war and just everything about him <3 <3 <3

@GirlNextDoor The concept to fit in with the right people was a struggle. It always made me feel like an outsider every new place I arrived, still does. So in short, the most challenging part of my childhood was to realize that I’m not meant to belong with people around me but somewhere more greater because I’m not an average girl.
