Well, at least you've owned up to your behavior. You're not entitled to her forgiveness just because you see the error of your ways, but neither should your value be based entirely on the opinion of others. If you're truly sorry, you won't make this miscalculation again and maybe down the road she might see that you've taken this to heart and might be willing to rekindle your 'friendship' - or maybe not, but at least you'll know not to make the same mistake twice.

@Marc-Walton You don't slap girls or act aggressive towards them both physically and verbally. Don't take advantage of the physical strength you have as a man. And you really can't justify it by saying it was a year ago - I am not saying that it was entirely your fault, but no matter what the situation was, you DON'T touch a woman like that. Ever. Good on her that she realised you weren't worth it even if she did take her time.
