Q1. Why does our nose run but our feet smell?
A: Noses run because words can be metaphorical & feet smell because the act of smelling is a homonym for a negative smell.
Q2. Is the S silent in "Scent" or C?
A: Neither, they are a conglomerate. When S and C go together, they are, in principle, one letter. As such, it will create a paradox when applying normal rules.
Q3. Why is it called Chilli if it's hot?
A:
I. Of course it's called chili if it's hot. Chili is hot.
II. "it"(the pronoun used generally) isn't called chili just for being hot
III. Because you added an extra L into the word "Chili' to make it a pun. You brought the L on yourself for why this is so.
IIII. Chili is not named after its temperature.(apparently some places outside America use an extra L)
