Squats and lunges are pretty good
apart from squats and lunges which are the best like @Sanxia mentioned, you could try to jumprope, it's good for endurance and burn some extra calories tho cardio trainning! :D
Legs regarding the quads and hamstring (between knee and your trunk) doing front squats, hamstring curls are good.
However, if you think strong legs = better agility and performance regarding sport, legs shouldn't be your focus. Instead focus on your butt, lower back, abs and stretching, legs should just become stronger as you go.
You really want to strengthen muscle that control movement coming from the closest to the trunk of your body instead the further-est as those muscles ultimately do majority of movement in stuff like running.
Squats and calf raises are pretty much the only exercises you need to build legs.
