I'm pregnant. How do I break the news to my parents?
-
I just turned 22 last week and my parents were asking me to study hard to earn good grades. They’ve been very keen to me lately since I’m the only kid left in their care, my siblings were already married and have their families of their own. Aside from their advice to do well in school, they always counsel me to never go beyond the limit with my long-term boyfriend. The thing is, I’m 2 months pregnant already and I’m afraid they might sue me for the mistake I did. I’m so sure they’re gonna be so mad with what happened. How do I break the new to my parents?

@worriedpregnant I know is easy said than done just be straightforward, be honest about everything. They may act shocked or disappointment may show in their face but you will never know..they may act in a different way that you think, you won't know unless you break the news to them

To those young mom in here like me that their parents doesn't know about their situation can you give some idea of how you open that kind of problem into your parents i really need your advice...Please!!!
-
@worriedpregnant That would be so devastating to your parents because they do everything just to send you to school for you to have a brighter future but the fact that it's already there, theres nothing you could do but but accept it. Just tell it to your mom slowly and ask for forgiveness. It would be so hard for them to accept at first but I know that they will soon accept their grand child.

@worriedpregnant ofcourse your parents well get bad at you, coz they expecting from you and they trust you. just tell them about your situation so that they can help you. your parents they get mad at you first but later on they can accept your situation.

@kelli-cales Do not do that don't you think her parents would notice. I think she should tell her when she's ready not after the baby is born
