Would you rather be ignored by everyone for ten years, or wear a sandwich-board that reads 'LOOK AT ME, I'M THE CENTER OF ATTENTION' ?

RE: POLL: What is your religion ?
@GirlNextDoor It's interesting you'd choose 'Juche' as an option. a) I'm not sure many North Koreans use 'Talkwithstrangers.com' and -- b) - surely it's a form of indoctrination rather than a religion?
Me, I'll vote Christian. Not because I am Christian, but because it's the one most likely to annoy atheists.

RE: Would you travel to a parallel universe?
I like looking through the serving hatch of the all-night garage and imagining the bloke is me in a parallel reality where it's permanently night and most of the population of Earth has vanished.

A drunken Father Christmas accidentally leaves you a sniper rifle. Do you hand it in to the rozzers or keep it?
He's chugging sherries all 'silent night' long -- he's bound to make a gaffe sooner or later. You wake to find a collapsible sniper rifle and ammo under your tree. Keep it?

RE: Is there life after death?
It would be easy to give some kinda joke answer, and just be flippant, and stoopid, but the truth is, everyone who is reading this, and everyone on the internet, and everyone in the world, is a figment of my imagination, and when you die, you'll be reabsorbed into my eternal consciousness, whereupon I'll begin my final battle with Lord Xenu at the Nexus of All Realities.

RE: Why do women make excuses?
@pe7erpark3r Evolution, innit. Genetic knowledge hard-wired into their brains dictates that they can't just automatically dismiss a possible mate in case a better hunter-gatherer never comes along and they have to go with their second, third, fourth or hundredth choice. Of course, the alternative could just be that they're FICKLE and INSANE, but I'm sure that can't be true (winking emoji)

RE: An interesting question for y'all
@Jeff9998 First of all, thankyou for giving me $100mil, illegal or not (I guess, what with Brexit n'all, that's about £70mil? Still thankyou). I think I would just buy loads of secondhand stuff from newspaper ads and newsagent windows. And if ever I needed an operation, I'd hire some backstreet henchmen, kidnap the children of some Bupa doctors and get them to do the surgery for free. IN YOUR FACE NHS.

RE: do you find people interesting over internet or irl ?
I like that movie with Kirsten Twilight, where she starts getting texts from a mysterious, charismatic, knowing stranger*. We all want intimacy, but then, the trouble is, some people get fussy and also want someone with the rich personality of, say, a 70's punk rocker, or an aloof soviet sniper, or a time traveller from the future. It ain't gonna happen. There's no interesting people left in the world.
*I didn't see the end of the film. I think it might've been Bigfoot texting her. -
RE: What is reality ?
Am I just a Frankie Howerd robot who dreamed he was a man, missus?

I've got Tony Blair bound & gagged in my boot. Can't decide what to do with him. Suggestions?

RE: The Science Delusion
Simply, no. Certainly science is becoming more predominant, but that's only because all academia is coming to the fore now that the West is drifting away from being utilitarian and working class. Look at it this way, what's the most important thing that science should be brought to bear on? Health care, right? Maybe house-building. Yet at the minute, it's just one big circle jerk between scientists and the media about -- outer space, electric cars, computers. The whole thing is embarrassing.

RE: If the world were flat
How can you have 'global warming' if it isn't a globe? That's what's known as a double-whammy, Trump-doubterz.

RE: How many of you are from USA?
I wish I was from the USA, because at heart I'm a cowboy, but instead I'm a typically conceited, wonky-toothed, overly-groomed ENGLISHMAN.

RE: You find a 2 inch tall Ed Sheeran. Do you give him to your cat to play with?
@Yason I'm getting a 'Day of the Dead' Captain Rhodes vibe from that imagery. Poor Ed.

RE: In this time of family, friends and peace to all......
Family, friends, peace ...all good, but why, in 17 years of going to the Christmas Works party, am I always seated next to the Managing Director? It's so awkward.
