My life is all over the place these days. Actually, I feel like that too. Everyone at my place has got tested for Covid 19 and got positive, except me. I've been stuck at home for the last twenty days and I'm craving company. Every day, I can feel myself struggling to be patient and just go through a weird ever-changing routine where I have enough time to myself but I'm unable to get so much stuff done. And now I feel sad, I'm stuck in my room, wondering how to stop thinking about how horrible I feel.

French and Spanish, for me. Silence too, if it counts.

@Kenneth-Clifton I doubt you're doing anything wrong. As much as I hate to say this, some things just take time. There's this awkward slow journey with a dozen doubts and a heart that is yet to heal. Maybe just ask yourself if you're willing to go through it.

To be honest, I don't get impressed when a guy tries too hard to impress me. At some point, it even gets annoying. Maybe don't try to impress anyone. If a girl is going to fall for you, she will. Imagine all the effort in trying to impress her and then knowing you can't stop because the charm may wear off? I've heard of that happening. Just have a good long conversation and see where it takes you. It may save you from a lot of unneeded stress.

I met this guy whom I found striking but after having a couple of conversations with him as friends, I realized that I couldn't flirt with him even when I wanted to. I guess you can learn to be passionate even if there is no chemistry at first because we ended up dating sometime later, but it took time and at first, it was very awkward and almost weird. Give it the time it needs, don't get bothered with the awkward slow progress and you'll get there.
