Things that take you back
I was walking in to town today to hear a joyous sound.
It was that of a little boy, around 3 years cheering, giggleing and laughing out loud.
As I stood for a moment by the door of the place I was attending a woman said to me, “all of that joy and happiness over a caterpillar”.And she was right ... the boy was jumping around like the first time he got candy ...
what a fabulous thing to witness in a time of darkness an sorrow... thanks world, that was just what I needed lol -
Is it always the best policy ???
This thing they call honesty
Is it always the best policy?
Personally, it's part and parcel of who I am. Like lots of us I spent a percentage of my time growing up being dishonest.
Lucky for me by the time I was 14/15 I learnt that living lies was not worth it. It often tended to cause more harm than good. What do you think?
How do you live your life?
Do you find being on here helps with honesty? or Not?

Why Do We Question - repost
We Do We Question!?
We do,
We say,
Does it have to be this way?We hear,
We look,
Does it have to be written in a book?We walk,
We run,
Are we sure we’ve just begun? We trip,
We fall,
Are we meant to feel this small? We talk,
We chat,
Is this matter of fact?We meet,
We greet,
Is this set to repeat? We smile,
We wave,
Can this be how to behave? We nod,
We bow,
Can you teach me how?We struggle,
We strive,
You want me to be alive? We like,
We lust,
You sure this is a must?We see,
We smell,
How on earth can you tell?We sleep,
We dream,
How does this seem?We breath,
We don’t…… -

Is there anything that you both Love & hate???
I have a few things concerning this... but I'm curious as to others and what they think...
This was spawned from reading a reply that @Mr-H posted moments ago...For me ... one of the biggies is ...
- I love being single, but I hate being alone. (I cope with the loneliness reasonably well i think)
- I love the fact I am a pretty good dj, but I hate the fact I have never wanted to progress that skill. (I just enjoy entertaining)
- I love that my children have grown up, but I hate the fact that they have. (only a parent would understand that one lol)
So, anyone with me? or am I just an old fart? hahahaha

This is for those that have long nights and even longer days ;)
A Day In The Life
Wake up, stretch, get out of bed,
To the bathroom, the sink, refresh my head.
Next the kitchen, the cupboard, some coffee for me,
This is the part that fills me with glee.Down the stairs, out the door, to the street I go,
This person, that, part of the flow.
Endless blank faces, vacant stares,
All of these people without a care,Get to work, clock in, things to do,
What’s in store, I haven't a clue.
To my locker, my boots, got to get to it,
This day won't end if I don't peruse it.Clickety Clack bang and boom,
The noise of the place affects through and through,
Lunch arrives, I'm glad for the break,
I nothing more than sanity’s sake!Eat, drink, laugh with the boys,
We talk about rubbish and the purchase of toys.
Finish up, get ready it's back to the grind,
For this is no good for the spotless mind.Clean up, hand over, pass on to the crew,
All of the things still required to do.
Boots off, clock out, I'm homeward bound,
For there's to keep me on that holy ground.Keys out, door open, I ascend the stairs,
My home, my sanctuary, no need to wander where.
Sit down, relax, take the weight off my feet,
Oh, for crying out loud I need to eat!Hit the shower, refresh, forget about the day,
I wouldn't have it any other way.
More coffee, make dinner, relax and feel fat,
This is the end of the day, at last that’s a fact. -
Another random thing about random stuff

After a convesation last night, it got me a thinking ...... Soooooo, Are you a repeat offender???
I had this conversation last night that didn't go on for to long, but it did get me thinking about one of the core things concerning the everyday person.
For me, I'm one of those peeps that has made many many mistakes. These range from the teeny tiny to the hugest of errors. I have, however, been lucky enough that since I was a young lad, when I was a persistant repeat offender, I learnt at the ripe old age of 14 that it's all very well making mistakes in life, BUT your never going to get anywhere unless you learn from each and everyone of them..... and use these lessons to grow and develope.
- For example, when I was young I used to be of the opinion that if I wanted something that was not mine I would take it anyway. It took me 2-3 years to realise that you had to earn things you didn't have.
Once older this became a vital lesson to my survival.
- Another example: I have been stopped while 'driving' on various occasions, BUT never for the same reason. I have had a speeding ticket once, I have had my car taken for not vehical tax and I have had a friends car taken due to no vehical insurance.
3 times of being in trouble concerning a car, but not the same reason each time.
(Don't get me wrong, but if I fully played by the rules, there would have been no mistake in the first place!)
The crux of it lied this question...
Do you repeat the mistakes you make??
Or, are you a rapid leanrer?
Please, join in and give me your feedback..... I'm interested to know what others that use the site are like.

RE: I think its time I did this!
@wildwallflower said in I think its time I did this!:
@mr-h i know its not possible for everybody to be active and ppl have their reasons to leave, but i just hope that ppl don't leave, i didn't talk to @stranger personally but i can sense his absence, i just hope this never stops, i hope there's more activity on here..(i dunno what magic this place has done on me i feel weird when i read my own thoughts)
Regardless of peeps leaving for whatever reasons.... this is a fantastic place to meet new peeps and learn new things.
End of the day, anything like this will be a constant of change. People coming , people going .
It is always a shame when people go, but they have their reasons. For them it is the right thing to do... for those of us that stay, well it's up to use to make it work ...
Fuck the peeps that come here for purely perverted reasons ... it's not them that make this a good, magical (at times) place ... It's those like you, @Mr-H , @cjko, @heyitszoey, @spaceboy, @bela, @WtfJudith, @ and many more that make this the place that it is.
You, like I feel that there is something special here.... thats cause there is. For us... it's a great place to be associated to and with. It's us and the like that keep it going.
As for reading own thought's, personally I try not to cause I often scare myself as to how sensible I really am hahahaha -
RE: What is the best way to deal with persons having delusional disorder?
@bela Be as calm an patient as you can. It's never easy dealing with someone in that state. Even worse if it's a close friend or family member :/
