I feel that is the Deja Vu effect. The fact that we feel we have faced this reality before but in actual its just our mind playing games. I too used to have a theory of dreams being nothing but a representation of a future event until my dreams started being associated more with my present or past.

I now thoroughly believe that dreams are either your thinking about an event or circumstance or your mind’s thinking about the same event or circumstance. The difference between them is that while in one situation you control and influence your subconscious and in other, the subconscious influences you.

Also in your case, the drugs might be influencing your mind and so does subconscious. I think you need to wrestle the control back from your subconscious.

Also, I deduce that you’re Atheist as the religions demands to respect and honor the All-father. Good to meet a fellow Atheist too.
I also deduce that you feel that its not right to blame the parents if the child turns into a brat and misbehaving child (aka Lil Tay), provided that the freedom has been given to them in their toddler years.

I’m totally with you on the fact that regular violence has an adverse effect on the minds of children. Today’s children are not that strong-willed and bold-hearted as the ones in the past used to be. They’ll call 911 (in US) if they experience violence being conducted against them by their parents. In modern times, with the evolving mind and advent of technology, we see the violence being replace with love. Most parents wants to teach their kids in a pleasant friendly manner. They want to be their friends and reduce the generation-gap side-effects. And that, I believe, is the way to go. Either that or giving out your child to non-violent day-care centres :)

However, occassional violence is a necessary evil. I would rather not go that way but sometimes, you can’t help. Especially when those brats are 3 year olds who can’t understand the language of feelings and emotions.

More imagination would mean more procrastination, without actually executing the imaginations into structure.
We already have enough of empathy and anymore of it would just lead to more sadness in the world, because you can only empathise with those in pain and seeing the amount of naggist this world has, no thank you.. we don’t need anymore of it.
And knowledge is wisdom. A world without fools will be free of Sarcasm, but that is a worthy enough sacrifice to make for the betterment of the world.

Its not really a secret that we all have good as well as bad qualities inside of us. One of the things that influences our decision-making is the teachings that we have been preached while growing up. Though in tough times when your mind begins to waiver off and thinks of doing something immoral, its the personal trait/characteristics that you rely upon to make decisions.
However, people who keep their mind occupied with constructive stuffs hardly
have time to unleash their demons. And for people like us, the pretentious nature of being occupied in replying to posts intelligently and constructively probably augurs well when it comes to the state of mind tilting towards good.

That phrase is used in reference to the ‘Rape’ committed whereby the parents are blamed for not educating the boy child better. It seeks to indicate that the parents are at fault for ‘teaching a girl to be restricted and behave in a certain manner’ instead of ‘teaching their boys to learn to respect girls’.

Well, there are always pro’s and con’s to every aspect. Since you say over-protectiveness is concerning and real love is being strict and caring, does occasional outburst and rare violence come under ‘strictness’? If not, then what does? And I would also rather not hit a child under any circumstance, except certain ones... For instance, if they effing decide to run in between a busy road (lame, eh?), I would hit them to create a sense of fear that it should not be done again as it is wrong. But thats just my opinion.

There are various reasons why we break up with our ex.. and unless its something not related to cheating/treachery, I see no bad in letting my best friend to go through with their relationship.

But......
You said that free will is not a giving and that there are rich people who exploit the “average ones” by withholding necessary resources. Now, there are two ways to go about this:

1. You’re a part of the herd, and thus choose to be enslaved.
2. You can be free spirit, survive on bare minimals, roam the world, working wherever and when you like, struggle but be happy.

Now lets see what you chose! You chose the first option. Why?
Because you’ve been well-trained not educated by this so-called ‘shit’ system to believe that Money is happiness and that can only be earned by studying well and then working hard thereby putting yourself under a constant stress.
Stress is a truth of the modern life. Dread it, Run from it... It’ll arrive all the same. Now you’ve been cordial and co-operative enough to have a few friends and loved ones in your journey thus far, so what stops you from going on an eternal struggling journey bereft of any restrictions and all you’ll find is freedom and true happiness, because that is what you seek. Now, lets be honest... There can be no true ‘freedom’ as there are borders all around the world... so lets just say it as Maximum Freedom Possible (MFP).

Also, you think that the chances of us being conscious is 1/ infinity if it ceases to exist after we die. Now, since you said that... Lets examine the consequences of such assumption. All the learnings that are acquired by our ‘conscious’ will be transferred to a new host after we die which means that the new host should ideally not start the life from scratch but should have some knowledge about the world, unless you’re suggesting that the conscious of the deceased becomes the sub-conscious of the new host. In that case, they would ideally have to live the life all over again with intuitions about how to live it better or worse. It will render that purpose of such ‘transfer’ as waste and unimportant, considering that the new host too will die someday with substantial amount of knowledge that’ll become someone else’s subconscious and the cycle will go on. That would be some waste of all the knowledge acquired and that should ideally mean that for every death, there should be equal amount of birth or vice-versa which looking at the World Population, isn’t true.

Depends on the situation and circumstances. If they say that they scored a goal (in a match that was played in my absence), then I’ll think about their footballing skills, their propensity to score, their position of playing and the seriousness and accompanying happiness that they potray while saying the same and then I shall decide if they’re speaking the truth or not. :)
