You’re blessed enough to not have experienced an unrequited love situation. I guess the lack of such experience is the reason that you write stories, while I write poetries.
Coming to the point of how it feels.. Well, doesn’t feel good obviously. Story Time: So she was a good friend and by virtue of regular interaction and crazy experiences, I started developing feelings for her (Yesh, ‘coz thats what boyz do). I have a policy of never accepting it first though, NEVER. Don’t wanna create an awkward situation afterall. So one fine day, she comes and says she loves someone else and I’m like Yippee on the Outside and ‘Huhuhu’ (that is a crying sound apparently) on the inside. Yep, and that is the end of story. I manned up and took it on the chin. This is just one of many instances probably. Its like a loop. Now, I’m grown-up though. So its kewl.

"I will give this love to someone far more deserving".....(followed by)....." you cannot find someone who will love you more than me". This seems to be a classic case of misinterpreted signs.
You know what do guys who can't take rejection, based on misinterpreted signals of love, resort to these days? Physical abuse, Rape, Acid Attack, Maligning a girl (which has been done by you) and/or Murder. These actions are based on the concept of hurting of THE Male Ego, which unfortunately seems to be quite evident in your case too. Why else would you publicly lambast a girl and make sexist and personal attacks on her? Publicly slamming someone's appearance, seriously? Damn, buoy....You need to learn to listen "NO".
And this entire rant (like any other rant) is based on your side of the story. It all seems to be based on what you assumed to be truth; what you assumed to be signs of love; what you assumed to be a mutual developing of feeling. I would expect a better show of respect and better application of moving on skills from someone who is experienced enough (as per the age). A "Thank You" post dedicated to her should be filled with good words or else its just sly jibes from a sore infatuater. You think you loved her? Well, if you did... then its an insult to all the well-known and highly acclaimed lovers who respected the grace of their loved one till the dying breath.
A sore "Thank You" note from someone who posts about motivation and growth is as Ironic as it gets. I hope you learn, mate... Its never too late to improve yourself. Cheers!

Quick Intro:
My first social media account was on Orkut. It was a new experience and I loved trolling out there (I was a born troller). I started using Fb about 10 years ago and deleted it 8 years ago, quickly realising that it was time-consuming and a deterrent in my developing years. I was among the first 1K downloaders of Snapchat and after quickly exploring it, I deleted it after 1 hour. I am in a install and delete relationship with Instagram, with my current relationship status as ‘Delete’ (Blame Kim Kardashian).
Conclusion:
So currently the only social media account that I use are Whatsapp and TWS (are they social media?) along with some undisclosable ones. So technically speaking, my life won’t be any different if there had been no social media except that I might have had to call up my friends more often to decide on weekend plans rather than discuss it on group chat. :)

My favourite trip was when we set up a 9-day NSS Camp in one of the distant villages. The purpose of that Camp was to build a temporary water source for the villagers. So I remember working hard-yards with sweat dripping all over the damn body in the sun. We were a group of about 35-40 peeps. So after working hard from Dawn to Dusk... we used to lay down and have campfire at night and used to discuss various stories and play games (like any other trip). But the thing that made it way too memorial was when we finished our work on 9th day and the villagers saw that temporary source of water, some of ‘em actually started crying and just hugged us. Some of the peeps too got emotional but well, not me.. But it was a good memory nonetheless. Also, I climbed a nearby hill at night time one day with my then ‘special’ acquaintance and just got to see the moon shining at its full glory and it was picturesque beautiful. So yeah!
I would not render any of my trips as worst because even though some locations have been dissappointing for sure, but the mere presence of friends made it worth it all. And my solo trips are never disappointing, NEVER.
So I guess the trips that I’ve ACTUALLY not been able to go to due to certain constraints are the ones which I’ll label as “WORST”.
