Yesterday while talking to a fellow user, I was amazed and shocked to learn that the parents of the person knew about their activeness and presence on TWS. I put my thinking Cap on and realised that most of the users here are under-aged or have just came-of-age. So, now it intrigues me that how many of users here have actually told their Parents/ Guardians/ Relatives/ Better-half/ Special one/ Friends of their presence on here.
So shoot in your stand regarding this matter as to why you chose to tell or not tell about your activeness on a STRANGER CHAT website to the people in your real life.

Saying it in a way that the person won't understand shall be an achievement considering the IQ of that person. But I still strive to get an A for effort. So here we go-
When I first came on here, I wasn't expecting much intellectual discussions considering the quality of crowd I met on the other chats of TWS. However while going through the Recent Topics, I noticed one username continuously posting out-of-the-box replies. I guess I posted all my initial posts in an effort to grab that person's attention because I really believed that a conversation with that person would be worth it and it was a challenge worth going after.
I was thrilled to have that person as one of my initial followers and the ensuing conversation that followed was not just what I had expected it to be, but it was several notches above. I think I formed a mutual respect for that person and that would always be there. The word-play that the person has along with their credible citations and follow-up knowledge is just amazing. Was a good experience to pick-up on some of the creativity and imaginative thoughts of the person. I still follow the posts and replies of that person and I'm rarely dissappointed (not that I have any expectations but still). However, its been getting a bit rough lately but Idk.. I just love the banter and that person has some of the best comebacks. So better watch it folks...

Yesterday, I noticed a Mod changing the cover pics of some other users and though it was a friendly and good-natured banter, it raises the question of what amount of privileges does a Mod actually have? I have seen some of the other powers of Mod as well, namely-
-Editing/Deleting other’s message in Public Chat.
-Change the name of other user in their profile.
-End the session of a user.
-Ban an Account of a flagged user.
.... and then some.
So what I wanna ask is that what are the other privileges that a Mod has? Is it not a threat to our privacy? Why are the privileges of Mods not a public knowledge?
The TWS Nation wants to know the answers.
P.S.- This is not a rant. I’m just curious about the privileges that I shall possess after the next Mod elections :) I just can’t wait till then to find out. Blame it on yourself Mods, you have brought me to the edge.

Ofcourse. That's what keeps you going. The thought of being the best and to always be able to maintain that position. Superiority Complex is a different phenomena all together but thinking yourself above someone because you feel you've earned it is alright.

As I said, he has the right to choose his partner. Maybe something that didn’t click between me and my ex, maybe my best friend can give her that. Maybe they’re the one who are meant for each other and I was just a messenger, a mode to make them meet each other.

My philosophy on travel:
There are different types and reasons for ‘travel’. There are Refugees, Nomads and Tourists. Now assuming that here we are talking about the ‘Tourist’ category, lets examine the reasons/purpose of their travel. The Tourist can travel for ‘Touring’- which can be either leisure or business, ‘Studying’- which basically doesn’t count as travelling but yeah... you still travel so yippee et all.
Also, travelling can either be Domestic or International. Domestic travelling is fun if the culture is varied and there are many places to visit, which apparently there is in most of the countries. But if you ask anyone, they would mostly prefer an international travel and see the world. I’m one of ‘em. My infatuation is basically with the places where some significant related to WW2 took place and I’m sure everyone’s preference is something peculiar. Just get the VISA and travel the world. Constant adventures, New experiences, Language barrier not restricting the movement, Deeper secrets, Lost ways, and then some. Travelling is a bliss, one worth risking everything for.
