@hermes I guess it just depends on how the big task is. If there is a small risk involved and there is a chance that you might succeed in it, its worth giving a shot and even if you fail at it, you come out as a more learned person.
But if there's a bigger risk and its almost certain you might not be able to do it, its better to first do small things and make yourself better and then attempt the big thing. Attempting and then failing at a task( which you were almost certain to fail already), is sheer stupidity and it gives nothing but fear, disappointment and lower self confidence.

And if people just need to talk to the people they like, they can just create a group chat.
