Star Trek: The Lost Era - The Art Of The Impossible was my most recent one.
A terribly geeky shout I know, but well-written, full of delightful nods for fans, and an excellent analysis for some modern day politics too.

@dani_mart And why indeed oughtn't you? I hope that you and that which you seek find one another soon 🙏
@blackwolf-0 I was mate... when my son's mother and I separated she kept my whole collection. I never found out what happened to it, whether it got sold (like she did with some other things of mine), scrapped, or swiped for her own collection. I had some corkers there, unplayed records worth three figure sums, discs I'd hunted for ages for, nostalgia/sentimental tracks, records my Grandad had bought me from when I was as young as two and we'd go shopping in town together, ones I'd inherited from my mum's and my dad's collections that I listened to as a child... it's a great format, but I haven't bought any since, I cannot start again or replace what's been lost.
@lisamini Ahhhh, you're a northerner too - as a matter of fact I'm off to Salford for the day on Thursday! Hope you're well, chats/friends are always good - my DMs are open. Stay safe 👍

I don't look as sexy as my pfp IRL tho
I DONT CARE, BEAUTY IS SUBJECTIVE, PLUS ALL I WANT TO DO IS ASSOCIATE A REAL FACE TO A PERSON
WHEN I CHAT WITH SOMEONE I LIKE TO KNOW WHO I’M TALKING TO!!!
That's actually really wholesome and logical 👀
It was decent. Friday I woke up in London after arriving the day before. Chilled day then went to see Dear Evan Hansen in the evening.
Saturday was busy. Up early for breakfast, brief nap at the hotel, then off to see Phantom of the Opera in the afternoon. Dined out on some fine pizza, then off to yet another theatre to see The Woman In Black afterwards.
Sunday was a shift down in gear, a very relaxed day lounging before checking out ABBA Voyage.

Phoenix point ? What is it ?
Do you know the XCOM reboot games by Firaxis? It's a game in the style of those, but is made by the guy who created the original X-Com series back in the '90s. So a bit of the best of both worlds.
@julie-dogs-lover It's definitely not as busy as it used to be. And I'm afraid I can't stick around, I'm off to an evening at the theatre now 🙈
@julie-dogs-lover Oh cool 😊 Resi is my favourite series, although I'm a big fan of 4X and management type games too. Currently it's Phoenix Point which is swallowing all my free time up 😂
Oops, I complete forgot about my biggest scar! Left side lower abdomen just a little above my groin, that one is from a hernia operation about four years ago.

@matt_aranha kink, really mate?!
Yes, really "mate". It's a huge fucking part of my life. I've been in the community off-and-on for almost quarter of a century. I'm far more active on the relative forums than I am here, for sure, to the point that I'm en route to be moderator of a major fetish site. I have made kink community friends in and out of the country for years, on and offline, and regularly get invited to networking events. We're a family who advise, support, and look out for one other. I've mentored, I've trained, I've guided, and I spend far more - in terms of both time and actual money - on said interest than I do on most of the others so it would be a bit of a negligent oversight to leave it off.
Is that alright with you, do I have permission to carry on my day now? Mate?
Hi Maya. Early 40s, male, British (white, if it matters) here.
Interested in all sorts including music, travel, philosophy, psychology, kink, culture, film, theatre, museums/galleries, board gaming, fantasy, learning etc. I hope you are well.
TW self-harm
There's the one on my left ankle from when I had a "lesion/foreign body" removed as a child. The stitches for it didn't hold so it's thicker than it was supposed to be.
There's the shiny white circular one from where I put a cigarette out on the back of my hand ooooooh, twenty or so years ago.
There's the one just above my belly button from when a stunt when wrong and I ran onto a knife during the dress rehearsal for a play I was due to be in that evening... that story made the national press and radio.
There's the faintest trace of a scar still visible sometimes in the right light from when I tried to open up my wrist just over ten years ago....
I haven't time to consider or list the emotional scars 😂🤷♂️
@shivers If you're with the right people, in the right place and at the right time, it's absolutely magical 😍
I'm off to London for five nights in a few weeks, and then going camping in south Wales in early August 🥰
