@Pepsigurl That's disheartening to learn that you've had to go through this. It feels terrible and can take your mind through various thoughts. You did good by sharing out your experience of this instance. : )

Looking at it, they're surely unwilling to be the friends whom you could count on. You've learnt something, although the hard way. Now you know how they are willing to treat you. Move on, maintain a healthy distance from them. Don't let the agony you felt at that time, go in vain. They had their petty fun at the cost of what could have been a valuable friendship. Not actually worthy of your time and thought, won't you agree?

The nice thing about friendship is that you can choose better friends. (^◡^)

@Redi-Dani What you're experiencing is not a usual biological response. The best way to find a solution would be to consult a GP/ physician. They might refer you to other specialists, but it's best you consult them first. Do it as soon as it's practically possible. All the best.
