@Basit-Naqvi aweee thanksss
-
@Lazz yea...
-
Well cell if its really imp matter ....then u should approach ur parent whom u r more close n open to ...n share ur views...like rather than telling both of them together ....tell one n then the one parent can stand by ur side n talk to the other parent ...thats what I think would help .... :)

@D1Vne waohhhh for real?!🤦♀️

@Celiaaaa Not sure if I have any meaningful advice for you. Cultures differ, and things that are commonplace and accepted in one place may not be in another. You know the situation, and your thoughts and feelings AND (of course) your parents, so use your own best judgement as to how to proceed, and hopefully it will go well.
-
@JustPeachy yea that’s exactly why i asked😂
-
@jackwin9 its just my opinion because i do care but im the youngest so they think my opinion doesn’t matter
-
@Sparkle52 u actually gave me an ideaaaa
-
@jackwin9 lol it might be right or wrong
-
@Celiaaaa You've got this. Just take a few deep breaths :grin:
-
@Celiaaaa I think it's a similar situation for all teen people's. wait for getting older! it's the truth they'll ignore u to the death lmao. but it's a different case if u have a hard voice N mature vibe's nd if u had already given ur thought's on different mater's from the start! they'll damn listen u!!
-
You have to elaborate on it more!
-
@Celiaaaa Haha, your words actually paint an image of a perplexed girl pacing up and down the corridor, thinking of what to say to her parents! :) An important factor, that you need to keep in mind is which parent is more open and close to you..It will be a bad idea to talk to both of them simultaneously, as the parent who finds it incomprehensible will assert his or her inputs, and will unfortunately ruin the talk and cause you to become more emotional rather than sensible,
Another factor to consider in mind is that you consider the urgency of the topic. If you find the particular topic in discussion to be very significant and urgent, use caution and care, by first taking careful note of your parents' current behaviour. For example, if one of your parents is pissed of at you, and you tell him or her that you have a boyfriend, that would be like rubbing salt in the open wound. :)
Finally, ask them to respect your opinion by gentle and polite words that you can use towards elders, so that they can hear you out instead of just simply starting ranting about stuff.
Best of Luck!! :D -
I’d love to help, but I’m Asian we dont get a say in anything.
-
@Celiaaaa That's just vague, if something your saying is just wrong, then no one will listen. If it's something subjective then yeah that's a different scenario
-
@Celiaaaa Heyyo Lovee yk u can try getting on their nerves by..umm..doin something..naughty??(lol) or may be something unexpected..(good/bad...lol) that will get their attention perhaps..n u can always use the innate voice god has given ya to get them to listen to ya(yelling i mean..lol)..n ig u should do it fast coz it seems important
-
@Celiaaaa really depends what it is, you may be in the wrong and thus can't make a point.
-
@Celiaaaa well I hope its helpful... :)
-
@Celiaaaa try using some kinda gesture. But still u parents will respon what ever u do 😅
