Can anyone give me advise?

Recently my best friend Jayden was shot, I found him laying on the floor wasn’t sure how long he’d been like that for, it broke me to see such a strong man in so much pain. Jayden isn’t perfect he makes mistakes, he does stuff he regrets he never did but recently he met this girl he said, “she isn’t like the rest, she’s special.” Knowing that he’d found someone to love was the best thing I’d heard in ages...I’m just worried about him, and I feel I was never a good enough friend/brother to him. He deserved better than what I could give.
