It does not prop up greed. Greed is. And greed is the reason why both the western system (no it's not capitalism, it's social markets and democracy) and communism fail.

And I would like you to note that all the players in the really big-money scene (Amazon, Microsoft, Google, ect.) in consumerism and capitalism, are completely on the left! (Democrats in the US)

Despising your political oponent will only ruin every country. It's important to listen and talk to each other.

However I'm thinking we should invent something new, a system that limits the power of it's players, but encourages the game... Who's up for the TWSians new government system design?

and the west is NOT a democracy. it is actually a REPUBLIC in truth. the right has always been under the slogan "only the strong shall survive". if you step on the little guy to make your millions, who cares as long as you make your milllions. look at your leader , donald DUMP! man tells corps forget regualtions and who cares if you destroy the planet, as long as you make a profilt, run with it! thats why the damn stock market is soaring! businesses have been given a blan check and told to make a profilt and any cost you have no more barriers! gee i wonder how well those corps might do with that scenario! dont get me started. greed will be the monster that devours us after we can no longer feed it

One always needs to understand the flow of the money... And keep in mind that today behind the LEFT sits the really big money, and the really big opinion influencers. Which does ofc not mean that the LEFT is "wrong". Just that one has to enable one's brain and think a bit outside of one's box to get to the truth.

America seems so yes, some of the different versions of democracy in the west seem closer to the ideal. However democracy is the western ideal, the western proposal to solve the problems. However I think we can design a new version of it that can actually work...

As the people on the left seem to be happily and successfully doing. However they are a bit smarter than the ones on the right, they don't do it that openlly. Nike is a great example:

I don't want to get you started... I want you to look at the big picture. The truly smart people among us, have already begun to realize that there is a growing gap between the poles, with both sides going ever more insane, and that this actually is destructive! We need to stop looking to who is left or right and start looking at the issues themselves, using arguments instead of group membership as our guides of judgement.

These problems are a lot bigger than to fix them with "democrat good", "conservative bad". It's completely impossible that everything the conservatives want and say is 100% wrong, just as it is impossible that 100% of what the democrats say and want is wrong... LEFT and RIGHT are both not the solution to those problems. The actual solutions need to go much deeper than that.

So @mikeJB don't take this one (by Silhouette) too personal unless you're an actual communist, because the polish have indeed seen first hand what it means to live in the hell that the far left creates. In fact I have an eye-opening book recommendation for you too: Archipel Gulag by Solshenyzin... It's a hard read, but it can shed light on the current state of things too.

Now don't get me wrong, the right can also create hell, and we have seen enough of that too in the last century :angry:. So let's start up our brains and leave both of the doomed camps, to return to the place where reason has an actual chance to win (the center...).
