Some people think that money brings them happiness, that money can fill a void and can do anything.
You can only fill a void with a special person.

Chariots of the Gods? Unsolved Mysteries of the Past (German: Erinnerungen an die Zukunft: Ungelöste Rätsel der Vergangenheit; in English, Memories of the Future: Unsolved Mysteries of the Past) is a book written in 1968 by Erich von Däniken and translated from the original German by Michael Heron. It involves the hypothesis that the technologies and religions of many ancient civilizations were given to them by ancient astronauts who were welcomed as gods.

I hope that one day, the ancient aliens will return soviet general Irina Spalko, abducted at the end of the classic documentary Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and deposit her into my lap while I'm eating lunch at the picnic table.
-
@Lazz yes. Even he admits that a lot of his claims have been false. I just thought it was an interesting book. I don't believe that there is any evidence that aliens have visited or interacted with the human race

@Vicious-Retard Most of Däniken's work and/or claims had been "debunked" or disputed/disproved back in the later '70s, though his books aren't the worst one could read. Interesting, to the novice
-
@Vicious-Retard Oh, I agree. Many years ago his writings were extremely enjoyable reading, for me. About then reality started setting in...
-
@Lazz I still think it is a good read as long as you realize how obviously ridiculous it is
-
@Vicious-Retard Agreed. Considering he wrote in the '60s, his ideas were fairly "cutting edge," back then. I fondly recall reading in my youth with wide-eyed wonder, and awe. Not in the '60s, but still.
