• Something has me bothered...
Do lesbians even practice safe s..3..x?
(I mean.. dental dams? For real?)
Idk if it's just me (or the region I live in) -- or does it seem like lesbians kind of get left in the dust when it comes to s..3...x education, protection made available, etc.

S...3..xxual health is important to me! I'm just curious if anybody else has any thoughts, comments, or concerns.

    Thank you,
    Muah!

(I guess i cant have the "S" word in my post apparently? You see what I'm getting at right?)

Thank you @sup for bringing this to my attention.
Let me begin with the definition of ‘S3x’-
“s3xual activity, including specifically s3xual intercourse.”

Now lets go to safe s3x-
“s3xual activity in which people take precautions to protect themselves against sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS.”

    Now lets see Lesbian-
    “a homos3xual woman.”

Now to answer your question, yes we lesbians do practice safe s3x. We use condom on strap-ons and dildos. Now, I can’t go into anymore intricacies as this is not a s3x education class. Please look into google for further deep knowledge. That answers it, nah?

    s..3..x?

    I think you mean sëx?
    And no idea mate.
Let me tag the right lesbian for you to clarify.

  • Find a partner that is not infested with infectious diseases and one who is willing to particpate in

    𝙎𝙚𝙭𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚.

Then you can try out all the fun activities with no restrictions whatsoever!

  • @lego-batman Of course I don't speak for all lesbians, but I have been one my whole life.
I only use condoms while using a strap on/any toy because during intercourse we may both use it, and disinfecting every time we swap might kill the mood a bit.. lol
Or when going from vaginal to anål intercourse, that way you don't cross contaminate or get gross butthole bacteria all up in the ever so lovely vagina. = )
Personally, I don't keep condoms incase I turn straight....

Anyway-- condoms just in case, for when things get hot and heavy. But for sure got to boil and disinfect afterwards.
Because like you said, those little fuckers are unreliable as shit.

    Prevention is better than Cure.
I’m 100% with that whamen too.
Also, I do not exactly have the honor of belonging to the feminine category, no matter what that Black Panthered user says. :)

  • @Karina-Kara Thats how I have always looked at it. I never got into the "hook up" culture like my friends, simply because Im not trying to get chlamydia or syphilis all up in my mouth and on my face from a random one night stand.
(I have friends who genuinely thought you couldn't get STDs in your mouth)
But I don't see anything wrong with casual sëx, and if there weren't those type of health risks from oral then maybe I might not have been so... uptight. lol

Guys can just run down to about any store, slap a condom on and be good to go!
But having a casual sëx life as a lesbian seems more risky when it shouldn't have to be.

  • @Wolfie_11 I should have been a little more clear. In regard to oral sëx.
Especially in the (let's be honest) "hook up" culture that is prevalent in a lot of LGBTQ communities.
I feel like there isn't much available for lesbians to practice safe oral sëx, casually.
which is a bummer, because it's awesome and should be enjoyed safely by whoever agrees to, whenever they agree to.

  • @B_Tiger
    Well, you’re partially right.
But in case of a man-to-woman oral s3x, there isn’t any protection present either. A woman-to-man oral s3x has the protection of condoms, indeed. But as I said when it comes to woman-to-woman or man-to-woman, they’re on a level playing field.
The protections should be developed or you can altogether just cancel the oral part while having ‘fun’. So they can either take the risk and enjoy their life OR wonder what it feels like and live with regret throughout. Cheers!

Well, dildos/strap-ons + condoms = Better prepared for future (if lesbians turn straight). Also, whats wrong in having extra protection? Being 200% sure is good.

Educating yourself in case you become straight? Now that's what I call being prepared for anything girl :joy:...

Well the 200% part still doesn't make any sense to me . Either the thing is steril or it is not. And if it is not, I wouldn't even risk it with a condom. Those little fuckers are unreliable as shit. A (female) friend of mine had one rip during sêx. I'm 100% with @Karina-Kara there.

Why the heck do you use condoms on strap-ons and dildos for protection? The only reason why this would make any sense (except for the feeling) might be that you're not washing (disinfecting) them properly after use .

Condoms are only 98% safe! You should simply disinfect your utilities... honestly, that's 100% safe...

  • @B_Tiger

That's why the hookup culture is a mess... I speak for myself, I hate using a condom, it's just not fun and takes away alot of feeling, so I rather find a perfecly healthy and disease free partner then get into a bad one night with condom stand :joy:
If you find a partner like this, it can even be a fúck buddy... as long as she/he is clean u are good to go and enjoy the best possible experience!
