    @Zen00 true..

    I think humans are also responsible to the climate change..

    Humans are the only reason for abnormal level of climate change!
    United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in its 4th report clearly states that

    "Warming of the climate system is unequivocal", and "most of the observed increase in global average temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations."

    @Lurker said in 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨:

    @Zen00 said in 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨:

    Sadly, money is the center cause to almost all of the problems we face.

    Actually it is a money thing!

    in 2012 196 countries agreed that climate change is man made and we have to do something to stop it, so they came together in Paris and signed "The Paris Agreement"

    The Paris Agreement's long-term goal is to keep the increase in global average temperature to well below 2 Β°C above pre-industrial levels; and to limit the increase to 1.5 Β°C, since this would substantially reduce the risks and effects of climate change.

    And right now the temperature has already increased by 1 Β°C as compared to pre-industrial levels.

    So what room we have is of 0.5 Β°C .

    But here's the best part!

    The countries agreed to reduce greenhouse gases and reduce pollution but couldn't agree on who would reduce how much of it.

    So they all decided each one should do its best and they submitted what they called as "INDC = Intended Nationally Determined Contribution" and they stated measures as to how much of the emission will they cut, and how will they cut it and how they will reduce dependency on fossil fuels and move on to renewable sources of energy!

    Sounds nice right!

    but here's the thing, even if all the countries do what they have promised the temperature rise will not stop below 1.5 Β°C . It will stop short of 2 Β°C, but it will cross 1.5 Β°C. and the effects of that will be catastrophic just like @Zen00 mentioned.

    And here's the more funny part!

    Countries are going back on even that!

    US has officially withdrawn from Paris accords claiming that climate change is a hoax, the only other countries who haven't signed it are Syria and North Korea πŸ™„ .

    US did it to protect its oil and coal industries.

    At the same time the all the Developing nations and SIDS = Small Island Developing States made their INDC's on the promise that Developed Countries will help them financially and with technology transfers, but none of that is happening anytime soon, because its a lot of money (100 billion $ fund was promised!!).

    So even if we pull a miracle and stop the temperature rise inside 1.5 Β°C , there will be a lot of death and destruction, millions will die of pollution, starvation, famines. And millions more will become refugees due to loss of their homeland.

    Either way its going to be one hell of a ride!

    Well sir, our sea food problem is caused by over fishing, yes, we over fish and we have been doing it for too long now.
    We are currently experiencing a world water crisis, yet I bet no one knows, and it could be fixed easily if we all just cut down on water. Low flush toilets use about 1.6 gallons of water in one flush, 1.6 gallons is probably more water than any of us consume in one day but we let all that go to waste with one flush.
    overhunting causes extinction, but whats worse is the more rare the animal, the more money it collects which means the more it will be hunted, which leads to extinction. Along with us destroying their habitats to build factories and shopping malls.
    Other things like air pollution and deaths of coral reefs are caused by man made fossil fuel, driving cars, etc.

    but what is probably worse of all, is that all of our governments know about this. Scientists know, it is on the internet, free for the public to discover. Yet citizens don't know, and the government doesn't want to sacrifice money that gas, sea food, and rare animals bring in. So we do nothing and move planets.

  • @Zen00 Wow I’m shocked that you would preach like that & tell people what & who they should care about. Climate control is a scam. It’s about taxing people & taking more control & power over people. The earths temperatures change constantly & to not know that is insane. Should we make sure we don’t pollute & ruin the Oceams. Of course. But our Coubtry is one of a few that follow the rules. Other countries pollute like crazy. You need to look into these bogus studies about Temperatures increasing. You need to look at the politics behind it.

  • @WtfJudith you speak like the rest of the politicians. So how do you replace fossil fuel. Get rid of every car on the road & buy electric cars that the avg family can’t afford. Who pays to have the infrastructure for electric cars. Your in Canada. Can you keep the batteries warm enough. How do electric plants make their electricity? Do you know ? People don’t want nuclear energy & that’s clean. They don’t want wind turbines put out in the Oceans or waterways. Of course I want the planet clean. I think everyone does. But there are NO real answers unless it is affordable to do. You people who call for green this & that have no answers. Just like the 5000 polar bears that disappeared according to Al Gores movie. Oh wait it was a satellite glitch that lost them. Their still alive. In the USA the rules are strict about polluting the water. So who’s going to tell China & India to stop their pollution of the air & water ? Are you gonna do it ? It’s always up to the US to fix everything. Why is that ?

    "I doubt it" "an impossible one", you say this but you claim to want to think of a possible solution? Aren't you using the internet to write out these replies? I think if you really cared you would get off tws and google some possible solutions instead of proposing moving planets and assuming nothing else can be done. Ffs don't your realize that this is the problem I am directing towards. Maybe I have to repeat it in all caps.
    YOU WOULD LITERALLY RATHER MOVE TO ANOTHER PLAENT, THAN EVEN WONDER IF THERE ARE OTHER SOLUTIONS. To quote you again, you said that would be "other thinking and losing sleep about it" but yet you think "nothing can be done"

    I think one of the reasons for this is greediness.. people want to get richer and richer.. they don't know the word satisfaction.

    Yeah, this is true. Greed with money and power is the main reason.

    I read an article about a fisherman from a simple village and a millionaire. In their conversation, the millionaire asked the fisherman why he took a rest after he got few fish from the sea while he can still get more and sell it to have a bigger income til he decided to finally stop because he saved enough money,then he can rest and spend time with family.. the fisherman replied to him that the fishes he got are enough for his family.

    The moral of that story is be content of what you have..

    In line with your topic, if people have the same views as his, the world would get better.

    I really like this. I wish more people saw life this way and then maybe we wouldn't be at the point we are now

    In addition to that, I saw how people struggle with the heap of snow in California.. the ocean is frozen and it will greatly affect the sea creatures and everything.

    That is sad. Humans can take responsibility for almost all of the troubles we face today, but unfortunately climate change isn't one of them πŸ˜‚

    Have you seen the animated movie THE LORAX? or any Dr. Seuss movie ? It is happening in real life.

    OMG I KNOW AND I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!❀❀❀❀

    "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. Its not."
