The Bowtie Effect

Bowties are super awesome, and my hair is fleek, so I really like the picture. Plus, based on it, someone told me I should audition for the Doctor in Doctor Who.

I don't know what it is, but since I changed my profile picture on instagram to a photo of me wearing a bowtie, my followers have consistently increased. I would like to call this The Bowtie Effect (unless somebody beat me on the naming). My hypothesis is that when people see a photo of someone well dressed or in a uniform, the person the photo is representing automatically receives a certain amount of ethos on their profile.
