It depends on what you mean by love.
The nice feeling of butterflies in your belly? For me that was more in my teens.
The feeling of being really attracted to someone? That happens a lot, if you only go out there.
Clicking with somebody and realizing you really have chemistry? Once again if you are only out there, that tends to happen every now and then.
Developing a real crush on somebody, that does not want to go away for quite some time? The younger the more I assume.
Falling in love deeply? For this you have to overcome a lot of barriers, you have to learn to trust each other.
Marrying? Obviously happens way too often for some ;-)Well I think marriage is work. People don't realize, but that is what it is. It is like building a home. And it is the home of your kids, forever β unless you break it. Even if they move out, you'll still always be the rock in the temptoous sea of their life.
I do believe that truly giving yourself to another person requires a certain maturity. And it can only ever be a two-way lane. Can it happen more than once? I do think so. But in the purest of ways I believe it can only happen once: If you really give away yourself to the other person, you are given. You cannot just take it back. Which does not mean you cannot leave them, but you cannot give yourself again in the same way. But I don't believe that every marriage fulfills this, only some do.
