Why not receive interests from bank as the only source of money/income instead of doing any job?

The amount of interest received even for a large amount of money is not enough for running a household.
Secondly,no person could accumulate that enormous amount of money to get sufficient interest by depositin it.
Thirdly, large interests are available only for fixed deposits which take a significant amount time to mature,so one cannot withdraw the money with their will.
