Should I go back to school?
-
I stopped going to college about 4 years ago due to financial reasons. I stopped when I was a 2nd year standing and since then I just started working while my sister continued studying shortly afterwards. She’s graduating next year and everyone’s been asking me if I wouldn't want to pursue my course. While my sister was busy studying and working at the same time, I’ve been traveling around the world joining tours, dating socials, events, concerts and more. I love the life I’m living now but I can’t help but wonder if I really should finish and get a degree now that I have the money to continue. What should I do? I’m torn between the life I’m enjoying now and going back to school and spend my days cramming. Any advice?

@ilovetravel13 Go go go go hold your breath and graduate. You wil never never never be sorry finishing that. Yes it gives you stress, but you know… You have to live.

Can't afford to go to college but can afford to attend social tours, travelling, concerts... Oh well 🤷🤷

I believe you should certainly build up some sort of career. Find a passion, a talent, etc. and discover more about yourself. You may not even need an education, but I definitely recommend continuing college as a beneficial back-up plan. It surely seems you've enjoyed your life, but I understand that it could feel a little empty without actually getting out into the world and making some sort of contribution via a unique job that suits you as a person.

@ilovetravel13 join the military. They will pay for your college, give you a job (probably in a field you never thought you would able to do), you can travel and do other cool shit. If you finish your degree, you can become an officer... great benefits, free continuing education, great retirement...
...I could keep going. The military paid me to get a degree. But you know, it's not for everyone.
that does sound something that would really help me with my problems... but military, I might be one of those "not for everyone" but I have been considering it.

I think you should complete your course.
Even if you're earning good your education is incomplete.
Why not take a break from this explorer's life and complete your education and later return to your traveller's life again? -
dont go to school, stole something, evade taxes, so you can enjoy prison.. : D
