Movies and Novels

For movies I'd say Forest Gump. I just preferred the way Tom Hanks played Forest as a much more charming, down to earth and oblivious guy than in the novel. The movie was both funny and depressing at times and just an overall masterpiece in my opinion.
For shows probably 13 reasons why. I read the book a while ago and remember it faintly, but it hadn't made that much of an impression on me. I found that the show however was really emotionally draining, but engrossing at the same time and had a way bigger impact on me.

@evan-elderson 2001: A Space Odyssey was at least on par with the novel.
