imo it would probably be smart to just be upfront and tell him about the rumor. just be like "hey there's a rumor about me liking you but it's bullshit, we cool tho?"
it might be a bit awkward, but at least that way he'd hear it from you first and those rumors wouldn't ruin your friendship :D
This is a tough one. I have been in this situation and my first instinct was "tell them" but when I told the person she ended up calling me a lier and I lost a good friend over it. Years later she ended up in a divorce because she finally caught him herself. I personally would not do this to someone who told me my boyfriend was cheating. I'd investigate it and find out if he was infact cheating and catch him red-handed. So maybe just start a conversation with your friend on what they would do if they were confronted by someone who thought they where cheating before coming out and just saying it happened. Good luck.
I dont know, Marriage is a nice idea two souls staying forever together and they are In love and build their own family. In some societies tho its Really disfigured and marriage is not done right So yeah thats all I dont wanna be one of those people who tell you "you will change your mind in the future" but ask yourself this do you refuse the marriage in your society or marriage itself? And if you loved someone so much would you Still not want to get married?
