WHAT PROBLEMS DO YOU HAVE REGARDING TALKWITHSTRANGER ??
@cutie-cat I already expressed my problems with this place. Well they're not problems as much as features lacking. The main problem of this site is flooding the chat, and the ability to create multiple accounts in seconds.
There needs to be limitation of 1 email per account, so if a user tries to create a new account with existing email, it will be notified that the account already exists, and constantly creating new emails is pretty cumbersome thing to do. Atleast as of recent years.
And with the anti-spam (flood) setting, it might be hard to implement such, but atleast have it into consideration and in future plan if it is so. That's one of the first and main things every chat thingy needs to have.
The 3rd option is pretty much optional, and it would be good if it can be done; the muting of other users in public chat. I think this one would come in handy if the user is being annoying, agressive or something towards you, and you simply do not want to read his/her messages.
This is it from me.
If these things were implemented, there would not be need for more than like 2-3 moderators. Which is a good thing, the less moderators, the better. Who needs 15 moderators or something for one not even that huge site (yet).
Why do you remember
firstly implemented for survival such as where is my shelter and then improved it and reused it for that purpose and many more, and if you want to know the science and all that of it, youtube has many functions
Depression and anti-social issues. We all need help.
THE VIDEO I JUST MENTIONED WAS MADE BEFORE THE BAN WAS LIFTED. BY A SCIENTIST. THE GUY SPEAKING IS A SCIENTIST
Not when, the ban was implemented, right? So, no relevance.
Where are these options? ( I need help! )
I'm probably stupid and don't know where the option is, but. Where is the setting option to change your username and email? If anyone can guide me to where that option is, that'd be greatly appreciated. But, if that option does not exist, I would that to be some how re-implemented back into the site. Because I'm quite aware that it was here before. Thank you.
Is god real? Your thoughts
@lucifer_ First do you live in a nation who obliged under The Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights by WTO? if yes, then look your country (domestic) law that implemented that TRIPS Agreement. i can't say your act is legal if you are downloading some torrent. but you could use for free a product belong to public domain.
A Non-copyright TWS Radio Station?
I had this crazy idea, who likes music? Because I do, and wouldn't it be cool if you can chill to some cool tunes while you chat and socialize? It's an idea but everyone can get a chance to get their song heard (maybe) but yeah, with the right DJ (wink wink nudge nudge) this could be really cool for the community! Give me your thoughts on the subject, and maybe just maybe, we all can make this happen!
Nothing brings people closer together than the passion for music!
Update! There has been a stream implemented on mobile, for now! I want to thank everyone for thinking it was a good idea! If you have any suggestions please feel free to reply or PM me! Love y'all
HARD CHOICES BY CAYELAH
A look at the stats :
Nearly 3 billion people — live on less than $2.50 a day.
More than 1.3 billion live in extreme poverty — less than $1.25 a day.
1 billion children worldwide are living in poverty.
Compared to the Herculean challenges being faced.
1 Million $ is a pittance.
Lets assume that the money gets devided equally (& no malpractice happens )
---->>>> 1 million $ / 3 billion people = 0.00033333333 $ /person
An amount so small ,its not even funny .You give that & it may wont feed a single person .
One million USD is not very much. Relative to the goal it is absolutely tiny.
As far as I know feeding the entire World ,clothing ,housing ,Medicine ..will take about 100 Billion $ each year.
Anyways ...Poverty is a consequence ,not the problem itself.
The problem needs to be at best eliminated or at least mitigated.
Since the Modern economy is not a Zero Sum game anymore but rather driven by innovation & talent with Ideas & innovation being worth more than erstwhile labour force, its in all the peoples best interest that other people get education & oppertunities..
...think of Elon Musk(South African immigrant) ..Jeff Bezos(son of Cuban Immigrant) has so many billions of $ worth of ideas provides more value to the world than almost half of its citizens earn
...& this helps all of us Think... .
Tesla ushered in the Electric car revolution (saving billions of dolars) or Amazon (the sheer convenience of ordering from home)
Think about how much the world would be richer if the poor now got the same opportunities ..another 100 Such brilliant minds can enrich the planet ..who says the cure for cancer or the next Einstein wont emerge from there.
..So its in the best interests of all the people in the world to unite & help one another .
I think people are beginning to notice this & starting to come together in certain groups in WB ,UN etc ... economic donations & Humanitarian charities & help are starting to pick up ....
A United world govt.(not this UN with divided countries) with global resource package can indeed do so.
As a start ,a Universal Basic Income & Housing type should be implemented ,this will really help a lot of people
Choose a game you love (or tolerate) in each category!
@bushmurry 1 - First Person Shooter - I'd say... Hmmm... Maybe the Killzone series (Except for Shadowfall... That was complete shit... Lol) That's the only one that kinda stands out to me for some reason. The rest are just plain simple shooters... I'm A open world RPG type of guy. But maybe Battlefield is A good exception as well. (COD can just... Die... Please...) OH! But maybe TF2 as well! (But I can't play that anymore because their matchmaking system is terrible now...)
2 - Platform Game - Honestly... I don't really have any particular favorite Platform game. My games use 'Elements' of platforming, (Like most do.) but never really played A "Full on" Platform game for the fun of it. It really just depends... But to me, the whole genre doesn't seem like "Game of the Year" material anymore...
3 - Fighting Game - Again... Not A huge fan of this genre just for the fact that it's just all the same. (Like most FPS's.) But it's still fun as hell sometimes! So I'd say, Either Mortal Kombat X or Tekken 7. These games are both great and exceptional games that are fluid and fun. I use to like playing the WWE games with my brother. But they arn't really 'Great'.
4 - Racing Game - Use to love Grand Turismo. (Grew up with it with my PS1 and 2. Lol) But not very appealing to me anymore. I usually just race occasionally on GTA Online. (Because who doesn't?).
5 - Role Playing Game - A toss up with either Fallout 4, GTA V, Witcher 3 and Mount & Blade. (So many! You can't make me Choose!!! I won't let you! Cowers)
6 - Strategy Game - Oh BOI! XCOM man is so fucking fun! Lol... (Played the older ones and Enemy Unknown is still my favorite!) But I love when my RPG games have some elements of Strategy implemented in them as well. Civilization series arn't too bad. Also Age of Empires... Love that game so much when I was younger. (Probably one of my first PC games I can remember)
7 - Sports Game - Really just depends... This genre has none of my "Go to games" But they are fun to past time. So I'd say when I have it installed and not lagging my ass off on PC. Rocket League is fun. But I never mind kicking somebody's ass on A Fifa game or two when a person ask's me to play with them. Lol.
Sorry I type too much... Lol...
